*Alexandria's POV*

I woke up and immediately rolled out of bed. I walked downstairs to see if Vinny was working out and if he wanted to make me something for him when I got my own breakfast. Once I got down to the kitchen, I saw him and Jake down there having a beer.

"Don't you guys think it's a little too earlier for beer?" I asked them, opening the fridge.

"It's 12:30. Any time after 12 is okay for beer in my book." Jake said. What? It's 12:30? I looked at the time on the oven.

"Why are you up so late anyway? I thought you left Peyton's pretty early." Vinny asked me.

"Well your beer buddy over there took me out for ice cream at 11 P.M. so then I couldn't sleep because of all the sugar in my system." I told him and he nodded.

"Well excuse me for trying to be nice. You didn't seem to be complaining when you were stuffing your face with Rocky Road." Jake defended and I laughed a little.

"It was nice of you. I'm sorry... So how's the California life been treating you?" I asked him, pouring myself some orange juice.

Jake and my brother were best friends for as long as I could remember. He is like a second brother to me. They hung out all the time. After high school, Vinny stayed in Nevada for college but Jake went off to school in LA.

"It's pretty nice actually, you guys should come visit some time. I have plenty of room at my place if you ever come out." He said to us

"We'll see man." Vinny shrugged before sipping his beer.

"I'm guessing since you're drinking beer, you've already had breakfast" I said and they nodded. I nodded right after them and continued to make some for myself.

...

The girls would be over soon, we decided that we'd go to the mall at 3. I took a quick shower and got ready for our Girls Day. After spending most of my time with guys lately, it was nice to just go out with my girls.

I heard the doorbell and walked downstairs to open it. I let them all in, hugging them.

"Hey, I just need another minute and then we can go out." I told them.

"Fine by me. I see something sweet in the kitchen." Dani said walking over to Jake. "Hey there." She smirked and he looked up at her.

"I'm twenty six," Is all he said before picking up his beer and walking into the living room. I laughed and ran upstairs, grabbing a small purse, putting my phone, keys and wallet into it before coming back down to the girls.

"Hey Alex, do you need some money?" Vinny yelled from the living room, opening his wallet.

"Um, N—" I started before Tori put her hand over my mouth,

"Yeah, Vin, I'm coming in to get it" She said, Imitating my voice. I looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "What? We can get manicures, A." She added. We walked into the living room and Vinny handed me a $50.

"Wow, thanks." I said, putting it into my wallet. He nodded.

"No problem." He looked back at us. "And you're welcome Victoria." He smirked and turned around. We laughed and Tori rolled her eyes. She hated when people called her that.

The four of us went outside then over to Skylar's car, since she was the only one of us who could drive, and drove off to the mall.

*Peyton's POV*

I rolled over in my bed and looked over at the time. 2:21. Wow, I think Cole's rubbing off on me now...

I didn't see any of the guys around so I went downstairs, where I found them playing video games in the living room. I walked into the living room, scratching my bare chest. "Morning Mom."

"It's 2:30, sweetie" She said and I laughed.

"Right, sorry. Good afternoon then. You making pancakes for me?" I ask, smiling.
"For all of you guys."

"When did the guys get up?"

"About a half hour ago." She told me. "Thats when I started these pancakes. Cole kept stealing them and I knew you boys could really eat so I figured I'd make a lot"

"Aw, mom, you're the greatest" I laugh and kiss her cheek. I started walking out of the kitchen.

"Wait, Peyton." She said and I looked at her. "Did Alex have fun last night? Were all of you guys nice to her?" I sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, she had fun, I think." I said and quickly walked away, not wanting to answer anymore questions. I didn't want to think about Alex today. I had no chance with her so I didn't want to get to deep into my thoughts and convince myself otherwise.

"Well look who it is?" Jamie said as I walked into living room. I plopped down on the couch.

"Yeah, yeah." I yawn, "My mom's making pancakes."

"Woohoo. Mrs. M, coming in clutch" Joe said, making me laugh.

"Hey P, We should go to the mall today?" Tyler said, whooping Jesse's butt in this game.

"Yeah, that actually sounds fun" Michael added.

"Let's do it." Joe agreed.

"Alright then." I shrug, "I'm down to see Joe strike out with a ton of girls." I tease, nudging him.

"Actually, you wont. I've only got my eye on one girl..." Joe said and I roll my eyes, knowing exactly who he meant.

"Dude, Alex doesn't want you." Tyler said to him.

"Yeah... She has a boyfriend anyway." I informed him and all the guys looked at me.

"She does?" They asked, simultaneously. I nodded.

"Yup. He picked her up here last night."

"Awh man. I knew me believing she was flirting with me was too good to be true." Joe said, leaning back against the couch.

"Sorry bro. I don't know how long they've been together but they hugged pretty lovingly last night" I patted his shoulder. So much for me not talking about her...

"Boooyys! Pancakes are ready!" My mom yelled. "Dining room's set up for you all."

We went into the dining room and took our seats, stuffing our faces with the pancakes. When we weren't doing that, Joe kept complaining about Alex being taken and the guys asked me more questions about Alex's boyfriend. I couldn't wait to get to the mall and not have to worry about her anymore today

Yeah Peyton, that's what you think. ;)

There was Part One of 'Girls' Day. Hope you enjoyed it. I know not much happened but it was just a set up for the next chapter, really. I'm gonna try to have Part Two up by the end of the week.

(Sorry for any mistakes. I wrote this one on my phone.)
