What Did They Do?!

*Peyton's POV*

It's been a few days since I figured out that Tyler and Alex were hiding something from me. I haven't spoken to either of them yet but each day at practice I've seen them getting closer and closer. I'm pretty sure I saw him dipping her in the parking lot the other day. Like what? I have to confront them soon because it was throwing me off and we have a game tomorrow. It's the first one that Alex can play in and if I don't step my game up, Coach won't play me at all. I wish talking about it was easier. I didn't want to hurt or lose either of them but I had to know the truth.

I pulled up to the field and parked my car. I saw Tyler pull up on the other end of the lot as I got my bag from the trunk. But he wasn't alone... Alex got out from the passenger side. Of course. I sighed and turned away, pretending I didn't see them.

"We probably shouldn't have done that before practice." I heard Alex say as they got their bags out of his trunk. "My legs are kinda sore now." She added, laughing a little.

"Yeah." Tyler chuckled, "We probably shouldn't have gone for so long but it was hard to stop. I was having a lot of fun."

My eyes widened. What did they do?!

"Yeah, me too. You're getting a lot better at it. We've been at it for a while now and I guess practice really does make perfect."

"Thank you so much for doing it with me." He told her.
"No problem. It's a good time. And the feeling after each time we finish is just so great" She replied

What the hell are these two up to? I finally closed my trunk and threw my bag over my shoulder, just as they walked past me.

"Oh, hey, Peyton." Alex said to me. "What's up?"

"Nothing much" I smiled, "What's up with you two?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

They both looked at each other than back at me before saying, "Nothing."

And with that, they walked to the dugout. Do you see what I'm saying now? How is that not suspicious? I groaned to myself than followed after them.

"So Alex, how excited are you to play tomorrow?" Joe asked her as I walked into the dugout.

"On a scale of 1-10, 27." She giggled, causing me to smile.

"Are you nervous at all?" Jesse asked her. She nodded. "How much on a scaled of 1-10?" He followed up.

"94." She told him.

"Oh wow." Ty said, chuckling a bit. "You have nothing to worry about. You're great."

"Thank you but this is the first real baseball game I'm playing in. It's pretty nerve-racking. Especially being the only girl on the field. I feel like I have to try harder than anyone else to beat the stereotypes, you know?" Alex admitted, looking around at all of us.

"You're gonna kill it, Alex." I said and she turned back to me, smiling.

"Thanks, P."

"No Problem." I responded just before coach blew his whistle.

"Alright everybody, let's get this warm up started." He told all of us. We all quickly changed into our cleats and grabbed our gloves then went to take our lap.

...

Finally, coach sent Alex and I off together... I mean, we weren't alone, we had Jesse and Jamie catching for us but you know, we were still together. It was only for a little while though. Coach didn't want us straining our arms since we were pitching tomorrow. He had us doing base drills and batting for the rest of practice.

"Don't take long. I have to be home before six so I don't miss the game tonight" I heard Tyler tell Alex as the two of them made their way to the dugout. I guess he was driving her again.

"Yeah, yeah." She laughed and went over to her bag.

They both packed their bags but Alex took a little while longer because she was talking to Jamie about how she pitched to him today. Ty put his bag into his car and eventually came back, throwing Alex over his shoulder. She screamed a little before starting to laugh. Ty did a little handshake with Jamie before turning around.

"Text me, Jay." Alex shouted as Tyler started walking away.

"Sure thing." Jamie laughed and nodded.

Tyler came over to me to do our handshake as well. I put on a fake smile and did it.

"Say goodbye Alex." He said, turning around again and walking out of the dugout completely,.

"Mmwuah." She blew a kiss. "Love you all. See you tomorrow." She laughed and so did the rest of us. She was so freaking cute.

Joe came up beside me, watching them leave together.

"Do you think something's going on there?" I asked.

"Yup... And I don't like it." He picked up his bag and left to go home.

I sighed, grabbing mine and doing the same.

*Alexandria's POV*

I thanked Tyler for the ride when he dropped me off then went inside. I liked how close we were getting. It's nice to have a guy friend without things being awkward. It's like having Peyton but without all the feelings that ruin everything. I almost told Tyler how I felt about Peyton today but I couldn't because I was worried it would just make things weird... Especially since I was literally going out with Eli the day after tomorrow.

Wow, I can't believe I'm going out with Eli on Saturday. That's crazy... But I'm excited. We've been talking a lot more since he asked me out and I think it'll be a really nice date.

I can't think about Peyton. I have to keep my mind on Eli. Eli, Eli Eli.

I put everything away and went to take a shower. After my shower, I made myself some dinner and ate it as I watched the game and texted Jamie about pitches. I can't believe that I'm pitching in my first game tomorrow. I mean, it would probably be for like one inning because Peyton was head pitcher but still. I'm so excited. It does suck that Vinny has to work so he won't be there but he told me that he would watch it on Game Changer and that he would definitely make it for the next game.

He wasn't home now so I couldn't talk to him about it. But I'd see him in the morning because, in his words, he's making me "a breakfast of champions." It had to be early though because he had to go to work so I decided to just go to sleep right after dinner.

OH MY GOD! PEYTON HAS DECIDED WHO HE WANTS TO BE WITH! It's killing me that I can't find out until July 8th like WHYYYY? WHY IS DISNEY TORTURING ME LIKE THIS? I need to know! But like, at the same time, I don't wanna know because I don't want it to hurt Maya and Riley. Also, I want Maya to be Maya again. Hopefully everything gets sorted out and works out for everyone.
