But... She's a girl. (A Peyton Meyer Love Story)

Saying Goodbye... Saying Hello...

*Peyton's POV*

"Alright! That's A Wrap" The Director yells. I, along with the rest of the cast, walked off set and to our dressing rooms. We've been recording none stop for the last few weeks but it was worth it since we get most of the summer off. My buds back home have been keeping in touch with me, telling me how my teams been playing without me. Doesn't seem like they're doing too hot. But that's why I'm going back. Not to seem cocky but the team needs me and my pitching skills... Oh wow, that did sound pretty cocky.  Sorry haha. 

Everyone was on the break but I was the only one leaving California. So Sabrina, Rowan, Corey and I were having a little Goodbye get together. We were going to meet up at Sabrina's house to just chill and hang out. Or at least that's what they told me.. 

I packed up and left the studio. I went home and got changed before grabbing my keys and driving over to Sabrina's. Yes, I can drive (A/N: I'm pretty sure he can't IRL, but either way he can in this story) I may play a middle schooler in Girl Meets World but I'm actually 16 and I just recently got my license. Anyway, I was just about to pull into Sabrina's driveway like I always do, until I see a whole bunch of cars  parked and a few limos driving away. I parked my car and got out, extremely confused. I walked into the house, and see a whole bunch of current and former Disney stars. Rowan ran up to me.

"Oh heeyy Peyton." She said, looking a little bit guilty

"Hey Row, what's going on here?"

"Well, Sabrina and I thought it would be cool if we invited a few more people. You know, turn our goodbye get-together into a goodbye party." She smiled innocently and batted her eyelashes, hoping I wasn't upset. I chuckled

"Yeah, that's fine. But I wish you guys would've warned me. I would have dressed a little more... presentable." I looked down at my tank top and swim shorts.

"You look fine. Everyone here is dressed like that" She assured me before leading me to the back. I grabbed a drink and spotted Bradley and Sabrina. They were probably the only people here as a couple but I liked them together.

"Hey." I said to them, doing a little handshake with Bradley, as we always did when we greet each other. "You know, this whole party change up would've been something I would have like to been informed about." I looked at Sabrina.

"Yeah sorry. I thought it would be better with a few more people." She told me

"A few? This is a little more that a few." I laughed. "I'll see you guys later." I turned around and went to talk to other people that I don't see as often. Except for Corey of course. He and I were together most of the party.

… 

The party was pretty much over. The only people left were Me, Rowan, Corey, Sabrina, Bradley, and Ryan Newman. She got some punch spilled on her shirt so Sabrina washed it for her. They came back  upstairs and Ryan threw her shirt back on over her bathing suit top and walked over to me, since I was holding the front door open. 

"It was nice seeing you again, Peyton." She said, flashing that beautiful smile of hers. I smiled back.

"Yeah.. you too."

"Maybe we can hang out when you get back?" She asked.

"Sure, seems like fun" I told her. She looked down at my hand, which I was holding my phone in and slid out of my reach, putting in her number.

"Text me sometime." And with that she left. Boy, was she gorgeous. 

"Ooooooh. Peyton's got a cruush." I heard Sabrina singing behind me. I laughed and turned around. 

"Shut up. No I don't." I quickly walked away, still smiling. I went to talk to Corey and Rowan by the pool, not wanting Sabrina to say anything else about it. 

After about another hour I finally left Sab's house. I was one of the last ones, since Rowan and Corey left. I didn't want to be a third wheel with Bradley and Sabrina so I said goodbye and went home to finish packing since I was leaving in the morning.

… 

It was about 5 A.M and I walked out of my house with my mom and looked at it as she and my brothers packed up the car. "See you at the end of summer." I said before turning around to sleepily help them with the suitcases. We finished and we all got into the car. My mom's car, that is. We were having people drive Mine, Dillon's and Cole's down to Nevada by the end of the week

So that was Chapter One of "But... She's a girl." What do you guys think? Is there something sprouting between Ryan and Peyton... Maybe, maybe not. You'll have to read and find out 😉...

Alex won't be introduced in the next chapter but instead in the one after that. Instead, it'll be about Peyton and his friends. They will, however, be talking about Alex but they'll be expecting someone... different.
