"Archer, come on! I want to meet Terri!" I whined childishly at Archer as he tugged on his arm hard. Archer grunted in acknowledgement but refused to get up off his seat and Paige laughed loudly shaking her head at him. "Archer!" I whined as high and as loud as I could and Seth walked into the dining room covering his ears grimacing.

"Damn it, Archie! My ears can't take it anymore!" Seth yelled at him in exasperation and Archer pulled an irritated face at him before slowly climbing to his feet.

"Fine." Archer muttered bitterly to me and I squealed happily jumping in place a few times and clapping in excitement. "Careful! You could hurt the-"

"Excuse me? Are you carrying the baby? Did you experience the morning sickness? Are you having bladder issues? Do you fart a lot? Eat strange and gross things? No? Didn't think so." I snapped angrily at Archer before he could scold me -again- about being too 'careless' about my baby. It's not like I'm jumping on my stomach!

"I know, it's just-"

"You think I'm going to hurt my own baby." I pouted out to him and forced tears to my eyes so Archer reeled back from me in panic.

"Archer, look at what you've done!" Paige cried in outrage as she jumped to her feet and shoved him out of the way. Paige is the only one who can tell the difference between my crocodile tears and the real ones. She plays along as an added effect. "Calm down, Piper. Slade will feel how upset you are and come to hunt Archer down." Paige whispered soothingly to me as she pulled me close to her and glared at Archer over her shoulder. Seth hit him upside the head pursing his lips and Archer's jaw dropped open in shock.

"But I didn't say-"

"You're making it worst!" Seth hissed in panic when I let out a sniffle and cautiously approached Paige and I. "Your baby will be fine, Piper." Seth told me slowly as he awkwardly patted the top of my head and Paige instantly burst out in laughter seconds before I did.

"Oh, my God! That was the best one yet!" Paige cried gleefully and I nodded in agreement wiping the tears under my eyes. Archer glared at me in annoyance crossing his arms while Seth ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

"You'll give us all a heart-attack one day, Piper." Seth informed me with a tired sigh and I lightly pushed on his arm.

"Will not. I keep you alert, 'tis all." I drawled out to him playfully and Seth rolled his eyes at me again. "So, about Terri?" I asked Archer once again and he threw his hands in the air in exasperation about the subject. Ever since Slade allowed me to have free-range without him a week ago, I've been bugging Archer to visit his mate.

"I don't know why you want to see her, Piper. We had another fight yesterday, so I'm not really in the mood to fight again." Archer told me tiredly scrubbing at him face and I felt my face weaken at his obvious pain. I know after being reunited with Slade after 24 hours without each other he couldn't leave my side for two weeks. He kept us locked in his room for one week and dragged me to his training sessions, meetings, and errands for the other.

After that he allowed me a few feet from him or in another room, but never out of the house.

It was a very boring month.

However, Lucy and Christopher did keep me company for some of it and I rather enjoyed their company. Lucy was so kind and caring she felt like a second mother to me already -my mother is already demanding a visit and should be here in the coming weeks once Slade's fully in his role- and Christopher's been teaching me everything about the Lycan race. Including their enemies and allies.
