Chap 20: Alone Time

"No!" I grunted at Slade in annoyance when he opened his mouth to protest against today's activities. Again. We set this day up a few days ago and now he's trying to weasel out of it because of some meeting.

"But I have vitally important things that need to be-"

"Slade!" I snapped harshly at him slamming my fist down on his desk and even he jumped in surprise. "You are coming with me or so help me God, I will make you potty-train Donny by. Your. Self!" I yelled at him warningly pointing a finger in his face and Slade paled at the seriousness of my threat to him before he scowled angrily at me.

"You are making me miss a meeting with all the Alphas." Slade accused me grumpily slouching in his seat and I beamed brightly at him slowly making my way around his desk. His eyes darkened watching me closely and I slowly straddled his lap trailing my finger down his cheek.

"Did you want to stay? I can go all alone and sit there, vulnerable, by the waterfall...barely clothed." I purred seductively in his ear and Slade stiffened before releasing a possessive snarl and gripping my hips tightly.

"You won't go anywhere without me." He growled out to me fiercely and I giggled in victory jumping out of his lap.

"Let's get going, then!" I cried in excitement running out his office door and he pushed through his sexual frustration to me through our mind link. I bellowed out laughter rushing to change into my bikini. I bought it yesterday just for today.

I won't feel bad when Slade rips it off me -I bought it for that very reason.

Slade and I haven't had a moment alone together in weeks. I've finally become comfortable with leaving Donny alone with someone else looking over him. Pop is bonding with him today; he's smile when I asked him was priceless.

I also know that Slade has been becoming overly stressed searching the world over for any sighting or hint at where to find Kaden and Tilly -the meeting today was the Alphas in one sector reporting to Slade like they have to every three months.

Plus, I was getting just as sexually frustrated as he is.

Having a baby is really hard.

Slade would no doubt be informing Colt about what the meeting is supposed to be about. Colt will need to take detailed notes of everything that happens in the meeting just to keep Slade satisfied and not on edge. And he'll need to inform all the Alphas that he won't be able to attend and Colt is taking his place. Hopefully the prideful, egotistical brutes will lay off Colt -they don't really like him because he has the same power rank as they do, but is technically only a Second-in-Command.

"There you are, Princess." Pop's voice carried over to me as I dropped my bag of spare clothing for Slade and I by the door. I spun instantly with a bright smile on my face that grew hearing Donny's noises.

I cooed loudly opening my arms wide when Donny nearly leapt out of Pop's hold in an effort to grab me.

"Are you sure you can handle him while we're gone? He's being a trouble-maker today." I asked Pop once again to make sure he was comfortable with the situation and Pop smiled faintly at me placing his hand on my cheek.

"Princess, nothing would give me greater joy." Pop promised me seriously and I smiled widely once again before nudging Donny's nose with mine. He returned the action giggling happily and I smiled widely at him. Slade explained to me that it was a loving, affectionate action that Lycans share with each other.
