Doctor's POV:
Jimmy laughed and turned around again. He put the poker back in the hot embers to warm it up again. I watched as it went from a dull orange to a bright red. He grabbed it and took it out. He looked at me and smirked.
"No." I said, struggling to break free from my chains.
"Oh yes." He said before slamming it onto Rose's skin. Her screams filled the room. She started to shake on her table chair and had tears streaming down her face. She looked at me with her tear streaked eyes.
"Help me! Doctor, help me!" She sobbed. I had tears streaming down my face. I went back to the wall where my chains were at, and I started to pull with all my might. I kept pulling harder and harder, as Rose's screams only got louder and louder. I finally broke one, and the second one was much easier to get. I turned around to see Jimmy about to apply the poker to her face, and before I could do anything, there was a loud thud and the ding of an elevator. I feared the worst. Jimmy put the poker down and walked out of the cell locking it behind him. He began walking over to the elevator, most likely expecting it to be the Master. I rushed over to the bars separating Rose and I. I looked at her and I put my hand through the bars.
"Rose. Hey." I choked, hardly able to talk. She looked at me and a tear made its way down one of the many tracks on her face.
"This is probably the end for us, Doctor. I don't see a way out of this." She said. I refused to let her die, not ever, and especially not like this.
"Rose, I won't let you die, I won't." She smiled and nodded, understanding exactly want I meant. The doors to the elevator opened, and Rose and I both looked. There was a short figure wearing green Converse with blue jeans and a black pull over hoodie. I couldn't see the face, because the hood was tilted down and the lighting was poor, but I didn't need to. Somehow, my son, Kazran, had snuck out of the TARDIS and found us. I didn't tell him where I was going, but yet he was here. How did he know where to find us?
"Who are you, runt?" Jimmy asked, taking another step to the elevator. The white light in the elevator flickered for one moment, and when it was back on again, Kazran had moved right in front of Jimmy. Jimmy let out a startled gasp. Kazran took off his hood to reveal his face.
"Ha! A little kid? What's a kid going to do to me? Better run along, kiddo, before I fry your skin like that lady's skin in there." Jimmy said, pointing his thumb over his shoulder to Rose's cell. Kazran looked, and his eyes started to turn gold.
"Release them." He said, his voice getting much more angrier and sounded like lots of voices merged together. He had his hands in his pockets, but they were clearly balled up into fists.
"Or what?" Jimmy said in his most cocky tone ever. Kazran's eyes turned full on gold, and he took his hand out of his pocket any pointed it at Jimmy, lifting him up off the ground by three inches.
"I said, let them go. Now!" He yelled, his voice sounding like an entire civilization speaking all at once. Jimmy snorted.
"No, you little shit!" He yelled, and he kicked his legs. Fat lot of good it did him.
"I gave you one chance. You don't get another one." He said pinning Jimmy to the wall. His eyes cleared and he rushed over to the door in front of me.
"Kazran, how are you here? Why were your eyes gold? What's happening?!" I babbled. He unlocked the door with a homemade sonic screwdriver.
"No time to explain right now. Come on, let's get mum." He said. Rushing each and every word. We both darted over to the door to Rose's cell, and Kazran opened it in a matter of seconds. I immediately flew in and got her out. I got her into my arms, holding her so very tight. She had her arms wrapped around my neck and her legs were tightly wrapped around my lower torso.
"I've got you now, you're safe Rose. I've got you." I whispered into her hair, almost believing myself.
"We need to go now!" Kazran yelled, just as the grounds began to tremble. Kazran and I started running, and I was still carrying Rose.
"What's happening?" I yelled, just before we darted into the elevator. Kazran pressed the button for the top floor and sped up the descent.
"I basically rigged this place to collapse within 1 minute of the elevator hitting the bottom floor level. I knew I wouldn't be any longer than that with my telekinesis and what not." He explained, only making me create more questions in my mind. Questions later, moron. Focus on Rose for now. There's a time and place for questions, now is neither. I silently chided myself. The elevator dinged and we stepped out. We ran as fast as we possibly could go the TARDIS. Kazran snapped his fingers and the doors opened just before we reached them. We ran inside and he closed them and locked them as well. Jenny came running into the room.
"Oh my god! Is mum okay?!" Jenny asked, pure worry dripping from her words like water from a leaf after a rainstorm.
"I don't know yet. She passed out on the way here and I don't know what's wrong with her other than the severe burns. I need to take her to the med bay to examine her. Kaz, you pilot. Jenny, stay here. I'll be back." I said, adjusting Rose so that I was carrying her like a baby.
"Where should I fly us to?" Kazran asked me.
"The Time Vortex. Well stay there for a bit." I said, running out of the room as he began to pilot her. I reached the med bay in a matter of seconds thanks to the TARDIS. I set Rose down on the examination table/ bed and started to figure out what was all wrong with her. If only I knew that those 3 weeks were only the eye in the center of the storm.
