The Eye of the Storm

Doctor's POV:

All of us are taken through long, dark corridors that have a strange, musty smell to them. I hear screams through some doors, and I feel Rose grab my hand, and I can tell that she's remembering when we were the ones screaming from pain. I looks back to see Kazran and Jenny holding hands, and I smile because I know that whatever happens to me or, universe forbid, Rose, that my children will have each other. It's a morbid thought to have, but with my lifestyle, it's a thought I have to have. Charata abruptly stops in front of an iron door.

"You will wait here. If you try to leave, you will all be killed." His voice is terrible. I can't even describe how horrid his voice is. He walks through the door without opening it, much to my discomfort. I turn and face Kaz and Jen.

"You two should have listened and stayed behind. You too, Rose. if anything happens to any of you, don't you know what that'll do to me? I need each of you safe. I can't have any of you getting hurt, not again. Be careful, and no matter what happens, stay with someone. Do you understand?" Three heads nod vigorously as a response.

"Doctor." Rose says, looking at the door. I turn around and see the Master there. I lunge at him and grab him by the collar. I shove him up against the wall, fury beyond comprehension flowing through my entire body.

"What is your problem? I just want to have a family, have people I belong with, why can't you accept that? These people behind me, I earned them. I did what no Time Lord has done before and I changed someone's species. I married her. She had our son without me and took care of him for 8 years and I wasn't there. But I came back. I came back for her. I came back for our son. I found  Jenny. I have saved them time and time again from you, and yet you try to take them away from me once more. I'm positive that everything bad that's happened to us has been because of you. So I'm going to give you two options. You leave my family alone forever, never to harm or even speak to them again. Or, I can kill you here and now. It's your choice." I can hear Rose start to walk up behind me, and then I hear her get hit. I spin around just in time to catch her, and gently lay her unconscious form on the cold ground. I turn to look at Charata.

"You really should not have done that, because now I am beyond angry." Before he can respond, I lunge at him, screwdriver  in hand. I land on his front and wiggle myself to his back, pop open his control panel, and shove my sonic in there. I turn it on, and he falls. I then walk back to the Master, who has a face of pure terror glued on.

"Now, you will tell me where Mickey is, release him, come with me, and my family and I can go on our merry way." I tell him, looking him dead in the eye. he then starts laughing.

"Oh, Doctor. Such a foolish boy you are. Do you really think that after what you did to our world, you even deserve to live? You killed 2.47 BILLION children, burned them alive, even your own. How do I know that you won't do the same to the children you have now? Hmm? I don't. I don't trust you with a family, Doctor. They should be mine. You don't deserve Rose, or Kazran, or Jenny. You, you deserve to die. Why won't you just...die?" His words run deeper than any knife ever could, and the horrors of the Time War flash before my eyes. Suddenly, Kazran is at my side.

"He saved the entire universe, you cow. I know you are incapable of comprehending such things, but he really did. He saved the universe that day, and has dedicated his life to saving it time and time again. And you're wrong. He deserves a family. He deserves more than any of us could ever give him, because he is a wonderful man. You, on the other hand, are a very bad man. You slaughtered an entire species so that they could become your slaves. You did it for yourself, no one else. You have a debt to pay that can only be resolved with your life." He held his hand up, and I watched as his eyes turned gold, and nanogene looking particles flew out of his palm and wrapped around the Master, turning him to a pile of ash. Kazran turned on his heel as the light faded from his eyes, and started walking over to another door.

"Kazran, did you just kill him?" I asked him, shock taking control of my entire system. He turned to look at me and laughed.

"No, I didn't kill him! I sent him to the Shadow Proclamation. They wanted him pretty bad, and right about now I expect he's being transported to the highest guarded prison in the universe. I believe the planet is called Krop Tor, stuck in perpetual orbit around a black hole. Stay there, you die. Try to leave, the planet falls into the black hole, and you still die! Quite genius, actually. Now, let's go get Mickey, and let's go home." So we did. We found Mickey, and we took him home. We went to check on Nico, but we learned that he'd found his place in the world, and that he was finally happy. And then, we went back to our home, with the entire universe as our back yard.
