The sea is vast and the sky is blue, with only the subtle sounds of the waves as its constant companion; a picture of perfect stillness. However, this silence doesn't last as 7 cones of light fly across the vast blue sky breaking the sound barrier.

"At this speed, we should reach Menagerie in 8 minutes." Amber says from the front.

I glance at my "luggage". "How are you holding up, Emerald?"

"G-Good, master! I'm good!" Emerald exasperates as she holds onto me for dear life.

"Wooho!" Alice cheers as she does a few backflips, with Zeke also barking in enjoyment from her backpack.

"It's official: I love flying." A giddy Saya exclaims.

"I once thought this only happened in dreams, but now..." Rei trails off as she does a barrel roll. "Hehehe!"

"Flying is so... refreshing." Saeko says with a small smile. While this wasn't the first time the four of them flew through the air ever since they were trained for 3 years in the [Hyperbolic Time Chamber], they didn't always get the leisure of truly enjoying it due to the circumstances at the time.

But that was no longer the case, and for them, flying was truly an exhilarating and liberating experience.

[They seem to be enjoying themselves. You even bought them new clothes to go along with their new lives]

My mind quickly flashes back to events prior to now.

Flashback

"Your palace?" Saya asked.

"That's right. It's the only thing I can think of that matches the description." I nod. "See, the main reason Towa and Rusty were after me was because I have the [Chaos Emeralds]. They are jewels that are empowered by thought, making their power virtually limitless."

"[Chaos Emeralds]? You must be kidding." A skeptic Saya remarks.

"You know what he's talking about?" Saeko asks her friend.

"They're these MacGuffins from a video game franchise I played when I was a kid. And when you get all 7, you basically break the game." Saya states. "I thought your talk of [Chaos Energy] and the like was familiar, don't tell me you have the big one too."

"Yup, I got all 8. And the reason why I can assume a Super Form-like state without their help is because I have a deep connection to the [Chaos Force] which you all now share through me." I said.

"I thought you said everyone was back in Earthland?" Merlin points out.

"They are. But it seems the [Aincrad] had something else in mind. It must've homed in on my unique energy signature, but because of unknown factors, it must have arrived on Remnant at a much earlier point in time. And thanks to all of the damage caused by the [Genesis Wave], its engines are stuck in some kind of loop, leaving it in a sort of quantum state where it only exists in this universe for only a few minutes at a time."
