I woke up to find myself in a limo. Seated opposite me was the bitch that knocked me out.
"You're up." she grumbled.
I didn't even reply. My head was still pounding, quite a knock out that was. I realized my powers still weren't functioning well, my head shouldn't be aching. My hands were bound together by electro-static cuffs but they weren't hurting me.
Maybe if I could just slip my hands out. I thought.
"Don't even try it." Cara said as though reading my thoughts. Whoever my kidnappers were, they weren't ready to let me go easy.
"At least tell me where we're going." I said."Oh you'll see." She replied.
About five minutes later the car stopped and a chauffeur opened the door on the right with a smile.
"Merci," Cara said. Wow, could she possibly have manners? "Let's go bitch." she said and dragged me out.
Strike that. She had no manners!
It was dark out. My train of thoughts stopped dead at the building in front of me. It was a white manor. It was glorious and dare I say just as beautiful as my mansion back home. Home...I wanted to be back with my annoying brothers, and my parents.
"Move it brat." hissed Cara as she shoved me towards the entrance.
As soon as we moved forward I knew there was a sort of enchantment over the manor, I felt it as I stepped in. I also couldn't help the helplessness I felt seeping through me, but I was sure my parents would be searching for me. They wouldn't stop till they found me.
We stepped unto the marble floor which was dazzling silver. There were a few gold statues which were of people with weapons as though they had been frozen when they were in the middle of a fight. It was weird and even Cara looked slightly troubled by this too. A guard fully suited in armor came forward.
"Tell his highness we have arrived." Cara instructed.
The guard glared at her. I could tell he wasn't used to being ordered around but wouldn't dare defy her. He left and Cara and I progressed to the next room.
"Where's this?" I asked Cara. She smiled wickedly at me and opened her mouth to reply when she was shut up by the sound of approaching footsteps. I took in the theme of the room we were in. The walls were blood red. There were black leather seats and a glass table right in the middle. I glanced at the door and standing there was the king of the lycans. He sent me a broad smile and I gave him the coldest look I could muster.
I should have known he was behind this.
"You're here. Perfect." he said and walked forward. "You can go Cara." he ordered and she left immediately with a curt bow of her head.
"What do you want?!" I spat.
"Oh. I just want to talk." he replied still smiling.
"You just want to talk? Normal people don't kidnap people just to talk!" I retorted.
"And I'm not exactly normal. Am I?" He replied calmly.
"What's wrong with my powers?" I asked.
"They're merely being contained. Co-operate and I might let you have a few back." he replied as he walked towards me and took a seat. "Sit please." he said.
"No." I was boiling with rage. My first instinct was to lunge myself at him and snap his neck, but I knew better.
"Suit yourself. After all, you'll be here for a while." he said with a smirk and my brain almost shut down.
