"Calm down?!" Brietta cried out as she turned to face her husband. "I will not calm down until my daughter has been found!" She yelled, her voice bouncing off the walls of the throne room.

"Honey, don't you think I'm trying all I can? I'm just as worried as you are." King Caiden replied tiredly, his usually bright green eyes dull and sad.

"Where could she be Caiden? Where's my Viola?" Brietta asked, her voice cracking as her blue eyes shone with tears.

Caiden stepped down from his throne wanting nothing more than to console his wife. He reached her in three strides and wrapped his arms around her.

"It will be alright, we will find her. I promise you." He vowed as his wife broke down in sobs.

Brietta quickly readjusted herself though, as the doors to the throne room were opened and two figures stepped in.

"Mother, I have searched the manor twice. She's not back or hiding anywhere here..." Enrique's loud voice boomed.

"And I have dispatched more men to search for her. I've also been trying to track her car." Ayden said, trying to ease everyone up.

"Why haven't you tracked it already?" Caiden inquired, his voice harder than he intended it to be.

"I'm not sure. There seems to be a problem." Ayden replied solemnly.

"But I questioned Sabrina, she spoke to Viola a few minutes before her car was seen leaving." Enrique said.

"So she knows where my baby went?" Brietta asked, untangling herself from Caiden's arms and turning to face her sons. She didn't even bother hiding the desperation in her voice.

"No, she claims she doesn't. She said Viola had a bit of a temper before leaving though." He replied.

"How does that even help?" Brietta asked, her voice cracking even more.

"Don't worry mother. We will find her." Ayden said, trying to reassure her.

He had never seen his mother this way. She was in a red robe, and her once clear, white eyes were almost the same color. They had been this way for two straight nights. She had refused to sleep and only fed when her husband made her. Her strawberry blonde hair was in a messy bun, and her face was void of makeup.

"It's been three nights..." Brietta started.

"Mother," Enrique interrupted "Do not despair, it's just three nights. Viola can take care of herself. We're doing all we can. I have questioned most of her friends, not all. All we need to do is spread out our search."

"I shall send word to the Fair folk," King Caiden said. "They owe us."

"Father, do you think the Lycanthropes are behind this?" Enrique asked.

"I hope not. For their sake and ours." His father replied, gravely.

The great doors opened again and a figure entered, his face hidden by the darkness. The queen preferred it this way; it hid the way her face had aged in three nights. The four of them stayed silent as they waited for him to speak. They knew who he was, they had seen him so often in their home. They hoped he brought good news and in a way, he did.

"I know where Viola is." Carter said.
