What Have I Become?

Chapter 28: The Troubled.

(Eva's POV)

"Love, it is time for you to wake up. I have plans for us today. The young master has given us the day off once more."

I slowly opened my eyes to see Sebastian hovering over me. I sat up and rubbed my tired eyes.

"What time is it Sebastian?" I said through a yawn. He chuckled.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked. He chuckled once more and sat down beside me.

"Oh me? It is nothing my dear. You just look so cute and innocent when you awake." He said with a closed eye smile. I love it when he does that.

I rolled my eyes and giggled. "Where are we going today? Do I need to dress up?"

He stood from the bed and held out his hand, which I happily accepted into my own.
"First, I have a surprise for you love. Here, put this on." He handed me a blindfold and placed it on my face and tied it.

The world became black and my senses heightened. He took my hand and lead me out of my room. When we were out in the hallway he picked me up bridal style.

"Sebastian, where are you taking me?" He chuckled. "You will see love." I nodded.

"Alright love." He stopped and opened a door. He entered and sat me down.

"This is a little something I have been working on while you slept. I hope you like it."

He took off the blind fold and revealed a masterpiece.

I stood there in awe, he had made a nursery. "Sebastian, it's beautiful!"

I looked around the room. Two walls were painted black and the other two red. In the middle of the back wall sat a beautiful black crib with a black and white comforter. On the right wall sat a black wardrobe and on the opposite wall a matching changing station. In the crib sat one of the bunnies from the Funtom company, it had red eyes.

I turned to Sebastian and hugged him tightly. "It's gorgeous Sebastian. Thank you, I love it." He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You are very welcome love. I am glad you like it." I pulled apart and looked into his glowing red eyes.

"We are going to be parents. Can you believe it?" He gave me a soft smile and brushed my hair from my face.

"I know love. I am very excited to be a father. I love you so much my dear." He placed a soft kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too darling. So what was the other thing?" He smirked.

"That is also a surprise my dear. Go get dressed and I shall show you."

"Should I dress up a little?" He nodded his head. "If you do not mind love."

I nodded in return. "Alright. I will be ready soon love." He placed a soft kiss on my cold lips.

He pulled back and I left for my room. What does this sneaky demon have in mind? I guess I will find out.

When I got to my room, I sat down and put on a little makeup and brushed out my golden hair, it's starting to turn a little darker now here lately.

When I finished with that, I made my way over to the wardrobe. I picked out a white long sleeve dress, considering when a woman is engaged she wears white in public.

I took of my night gown and slipped on my dress. I finished with stockings and shoes.

When I was finished I heard a knock on my door. "Come in."

Sebastian walked in, dressed quite nicely might I add. "Hello love, are you ready to go?"

I nodded. "Yes, I'm ready." He snaked my arm into his and walked for the door.

We reached the door leading outside. When we walked out, a carriage with two beautiful black horses awaited us. The servants sat in the drivers seat.

Sebastian opened the door for me and helped me in. We sat down beside each other on the left. He held my hand in his own and spoke softly.

"I think you will rather enjoy what I have planned for this afternoon love."

I raised a brow. "Where are we going?"

He smirked. "Somewhere you have not been in quite sometime."

I knew exactly where we were going. The place where we shared our first date, a beautiful lake in the clearing of the woods.

After a short ride, we had arrived. Sebastian helped me out if the carriage. I stood there a moment, taking in the gorgeous scenery.

"Sebastian, this is where we had our first date. I can't believe you remember it."

Sebastian walked beside me and squeezed my hand.

"How could I ever forget love? It was here that I knew that true love at first sight was possible. I knew that I wanted to spend eternity with you."

He pulled me over to a small patch of flowers and sat down. I sat down beside him and laid back, he laid down as well.

"Sebastian, I love you so much. You have no idea how much you mean to me. I can't even begin to know what I would do without you."

He scooted closer to me and pulled me close. "My dear, I love you so much as well. You give my 'life' meaning and a reason to smile everyday. When you are away I can not help but feel saddened because you are not there by my side. I have no idea what I would do without you either my dear. We were simply made for each other."

We sat in the bed of flowers and gazed at the clouds, pointing out different figures and shapes. My life is simply perfect. Nothing could change this moment, nothing.
