He smirked and scooped me up bridal style. He headed for the window and jumped out into the cool night air. We landed on the ground just at the entrance to the forest, and began running towards the Trancy manor. Well, I guess now you would call it the Faustus manor. Claude.

If that monster lays a single finger on my cousin, I will rip him to shreds. Ciel is far too fragile for that filthy demons hands.

I shook the thought from my head and noticed Sebastian glancing at me with a worried look.

"Is everything alright my dear? You seem frustrated." He said.

"Oh, yes. I am quite alright. Well actually no. I cannot help but think about all these terrible things Claude might be doing to Ciel. It sickens me to think of what could already have happened."

This seemed to worry him as well, considering his pace sped up a bit.

"What time is it Sebastian?" I asked.

He carefully reached into his breast pocked and pulled out his beautiful golden watch. He flipped open the latch and looked for a moment.

"It is already five minutes till eleven. We best hurry now love." He said.

I nodded and returned my attention to the forest. It was very dark, but being a demonic vampire I could see perfectly. My senses were heightened as well. I could hear and smell every animal nearby. I could smell all the beautiful flowers and the sap inside the trees. It reminded me of when Anna made flapjacks one mor-. I cut myself off.

I stopped dead in my tracks and grabbed Sebastian's arm. He suddenly stopped and looked around frantically.

"What is it Eva? Did you see something?" He asked.

I slowly looked up to his pale face.

"Oh no." I said quietly.

"What is it Eva? Speak to me."

"Hannah." I simply said.

"Yes dear, Alucard is taking care of her."

"No Sebastian, we were supposed to bring her with us. If we arrive there without her-" He cut me off.

"We will go back and get her Eva." He said.

"But Alucard, he may have already killed her." I said fearfully.

"Then we must hurry love, let's go." He picked me up and began to run for the manor, he is the fastest out of the both of us after all.

In what felt like a split second, we had arrived at the manor. I quickly jumped out of his arms and ran to the door. I pulled it open, nearly ripping it from its hinges, and ran up the stairs to the library. Alucards maniacal laugh echoed throughout the halls, sending shiver down my spine. I was already preparing myself for the worst.

I finally reached the library door and shoved it open, only to be met with great horror. Hannah was tied to the chair and Alucard waved his infamous pistol in her face.

As I watched, time seemed to move quite slow. Alucards thumb moved very slowly towards the hammer of his gun, that would send Hannah to her death. I took a step towards them and noticed that time was actually moving slow, but I was moving at normal speed. Am I controlling this?

I shook my head and moved in front of Alucard. I took his gun from his hand and unloaded the barrel and emptied the mag. When I was finished, I placed the gun back into his hands and stepped in front of Hannah and then all of a sudden time returned to normal.

I watched as Alucard continued to lift his gun to Hannah's head, but now it was aimed at me. Before he even took notice of the change he had already pulled down the hammer and pulled the trigger.

As soon as he caught on to what happened, he dropped his gun to the ground and just stared at me.

"Eva! Are you alright? I did not even see you, wh- how did you get there?" He asked, clearly confused.

I shook my head and turned around to Hannah and began to untie her.

"There's no time to explain, I need Hannah alive." I said.

"So, I do not get to kill her?" Alucard asked.

I silently chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"No Alucard, now. Sebastian, do you know a quicker way to the Trancy manor?" I asked.

I glanced over to Sebastian while I tied Hannah's hands together.

"Yes, I believe so. But we will need to leave now." He said.

I nodded and turned back to Hannah.

"If you try anything, if you try to escape, if you try to run free, I will feed you to a pack of damn wolves after I rip your skin from your putrid body. Is that understood?" I said in an icy tone.

She looked up into my eyes and slowly nodded.

"Good, now stand up." I commanded.

She did as she was told and stood up. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder.

I looked over at Sebastian and nodded for him to take lead.

He nodded in return and ran out of the door. We came to the same window we had jumped out of before. Sebastian jumped onto the pane and I quickly followed behind him.

When we landed on the ground, Sebastian ran towards the forest from before, only this time we reached a fork in the trees.

Instead of taking the same left we had taken last time, we took the right.

Sebastian ran as fast as he ever had before and so did I, although the extra weight on my shoulders did not seem to help.

I took a quick glance towards the sky, the moon was almost in the center, signaling that it was almost eleven. This made me pick up my pace.

After a few more seconds of running, we had finally made it to the manor.

We waisted no time by opening the door, rather running straight through the thick mahogany wood.

When we arrived inside the lobby, the sight before my very eyes sent me into a state of pure shock.

There before us, laid a lifeless Ciel.
