What Have I Become?

Chapter 19: The Answer.

(Integras POV)

"Sir Integra, you have guests." I looked up from my paperwork to see Walter standing halfway in the door of my office. "Send them in." He opened the door the rest of the way and two familiar faces walked in.

I stood and greeted them. "Sebastian, Eva. What brings you two here?" Sebastian bowed.

"My lady, we wish to speak with lord Alucard and lady Seras, we have a few questions for them." I nodded my head.

"Walter, call for Alucard and Seras." Walter bowed. "Right away Sir Integra."

"Please, have a seat while you wait." They both sat down. "Sir Integra, it has been quite some time since I have seen you." Eva spoke.

I sat down in my chair and lit a cigar. "Yes, it has. Too long I suppose. How are things." I looked at Eva's hand and noticed the ring.

She held her hand up. "Well, I am engaged." She laid her hand back down on her knee. "To whom may I ask?"

She glanced at the dark Butler. "I am engaged to Sebastian." I put out my cigar. "You are engaged to a demon?"

She nodded her head. "Yes, and I love him very much." Sebastian placed his hand in hers.

Just as I was going to reply, the door opened and a squeal filled the air. "Eva! Sebastian! What are you doing here?" Seras ran up to Eva and hugged her.

"Seras!" I yelled at the disrespectful vampire. She let go and bowed. "Sorry sir, it's just been so long." She walked over to the corner.

A black figure began to phase through the wall. Alucard. "Well well, if it isn't the demon Butler himself and he's even brought me a present. You're too kind Sebastian." Alucard walked over to Sebastian and shook his hand.

"I am afraid not Alucard, this one belongs to me." Alucard glanced down at Eva's ring.

"It's good to see you again." He turned to Eva and grabbed her hand. "My name is Alucard, I see you've gone and gotten yourself betrothed to this loon. Good for you." He placed a gentle kiss on it.

He let go and sat down in a chair beside my desk. He crossed his legs and placed his hands over his knees.

"So, what brings you two here, trouble in paradise?" Sebastian sat down as well. "We need your help with something Alucard."

Alucard nodded for him to go on. "Eva is pregnant." Alucard grinned. "Well, I have never seen this before. A human impregnated by a demon? That's a first."

"I am not human." Eva stated. "She is a demonic vampire. Her father is a demon and her mother was a vampire "

Alucard grinned even wider. "I take that back, that is a first." Seras walked over to Eva.

"May I?" Eva nodded her head. "Yes." Seras laid her hand on Eva's stomach. Her stomach bounced up and Seras jumped.

"Oh this is wonderful! How far are you?" Eva giggled at Seras. "We believe she is along the lines of a week or so." Sebastian stated.

"So what do you need from us Sebastian?" Alucard asked. Sebastian sat up in his chair.

"We need information about a hybrid carrying a child. We are not sure if the child will be a demon or a vampire. You three are the only ones we knew to ask."
