(Eva's POV)

I ran off into the shadows, awaiting my next meal. I'm not sure what's wrong with me, but I feel invisible.

I came across an alley way and stepped into the darkness. A blonde woman about the age of 25 passed by me. Her soul and blood smelled tainted and used, but I did not care.

I turned around and began to follow her. She sensed she was being followed and glanced back a few times.

Her pace sped up a little, as well as her heartbeat. I followed close behind , taking in every scent that came off of her disgusting body.

She glaced back once more and began to run, big mistake. She had ran upon a dead end.

"W-what do you w-want from m-me?" She trembled.

I smirked and walked closer. She dug through her purse and threw money out in front of me.

"T-take it. It's a-all that I h-have." Her voice cracked and she began shaking even more.

I got even closer. "I do not want something as useless as money. I came for one thing." My eyes grew an alarming maroon.

She pushed herself back against the wall. "W-what do y-you w-want?"

I got closer and smelled her neck, she shivered at my touch.

"I want your blood." I sank my teeth into the crook of her neck.

She screamed out in terror and pain. Her blood tasted of metal. It was bitter and unpleasant.

When I was finished I let her body drop to the ground, there was not one drop of blood left for her to salvage.

I stood up straight and smelled the air when I heard footsteps approaching me.

"Eva, stop this! You have to come with us, you're not well." Alucard stepped into the moon light.

I laughed maniacally. "I am not quite finished yet." I jumped up onto the roof of the nearest house. Alucard shot at me, but I dodged every bullet.

He jumped onto the roof as well and shot at me once more.

"Damn you demon. How the hell are you so fast?" I turned to him and smirked.

I ran to the edge and jumped off. When I landed a sweet smell filled my body. The smell of a pure soul.

I walked along the shadows, following the scent. I came across a brunette man, about the age of 32.

He was carrying bags, full of groceries I imagine. I jumped right in front of him and he dropped his bags.

"W-who are y-you?" He trembled as well. He slowly backed up.

I took a few steps towards him and cracked my neck. "Me? I'm the monster that lurks in the shadows. I am the fear of the dark. I am the murderer of empathy. And I'm the one who is gong to steal your blood."

His eyes opened wide and he began to scream. I approached him closer and giggled like a pycho.

"Nobody can hear you, and even if they could they wouldn't come."
