So, a lot of synesthetes tend to be bad at math.

They say, for grapheme-color synesthetes, it's stuff like how the color of one number can't be added to the other color and actually create what the color of the answer is. That was a bad explanation. But you get it. Right? Anyways, that kind of thing doesn't really bother me. When I'm doing a math problem, the colors just seem like a nice display, and I never really think about them being mixed together or anything like that.

They also say, for OLP synesthetes, it's because there could be a nice number being added to a mean number, and they just can't handle something like that happening. Again, doesn't bother me. I think of all the numbers and symbols being there and trying to interact with one another, but if they don't like each other, they just kind of don't talk. I guess. THIS IS HARD D:

I don't know how some people are affected by that and some people aren't. #2INTENSE4ME

I wish scientists knew more about all this. And that Google would be COOPERATIVE. Synesthesia's just a mystery to everyone! I hate that!

FRUSTRATION. Well, this has become quite random.

If you have grapheme-color or OLP, does it affect your math skills?

Keep bee-lieving :{D
