Squished and Sunlight

*Mili's POV*

'Who dares enter my kingdom armed, thieves spies assassins' the Goblin King asked. 'Dwarves your malevolence, 13 men and one female' one ugly looking goblin answered.

'Dwarves' shrieked the King. 'Well don't just stand there search them, every crack every crevice. 'Who are you' the Goblin King ordered. No one spoke. I was pushed beside Kili. 'Fine if they won't talk we'll make them squak' boomed the King. 'Start with the youngest' he said pointing and me and Kili. We both exchanged worried glances. About 20 goblins came towards us both and took hold of us. They tied our hands together and our feet and put us both against a pole. One goblin had a big bat in his hand. He was just about to take a swing at Kili when uncle shouted 'wait!'

Uncle emerged from the crowd.

'Well well well if it isn't Thorin Oakenshield, son of Thrain son of Thror King Under The Mountain. But wait I'm forgetting you don't have a mountain and your not a king which makes you a no body really' hissed the Goblin King.
'I know someone who'd pay a pretty price for your head, just a head, nothing attached, maybe you know of who I speak about, a pale Orc astride a white Warg.

'Azog the Defiler was slain in battle long ago' Thorin spat.

'So you think his defiling days are over do you? Questioned the Goblin King. 'Send word to the pale Orc tell him I have found his prize.'

With that a small ugly Goblin sat back in his makeshift air traveler thing and sped off into the darkness. Yet again the goblins began to claw at us.

'Bones will be shattered, necks will be rung, you'll be beaten and battered, from racks you'll be hung, you will die down here and never be found, down in the deep of goblin town!' The Goblin King sang.

One goblin went to where all the swords were. He opened Thorin's one curious. When he unsheathed it he flung it to the floor and screened in terror.

'I know that sword, it is the goblin cleaver' the Goblin King said clambering back onto his makeshift throne. 'The biter, the blade that sliced a thousand necks' he finished.

'SLICE THEM, EAT THEM KILL THEM' the Goblin King ordered. All of a sudden the goblins took out whips and started to whip us.

Me and Kili who were tied up couldn't move so we had to sit there and be beaten.

All of a sudden a bright light came shining through the darkness. Everyone was throne off their feet. Gandalf emerged from the shadows.

'Take up arms, fight, FIGHT' Gandalf shouted. All the dwarves got riled up. Fili ran over to Kili and I and set us free. He handed us our bows and swords and we began to fight.

Dwalin picked up a pole. He gestured to us to help. There was five of us holding onto the pole. We began to run. Knocking every goblin off the platforms and down to the depts of goblin town. We came to a corner, we turned around and threw the pole on top of about 20 goblins knocking them backwards making them fall.

Kili picked up a ladder. There was about 30 goblins shooting at him. I knocked out some of them but not all. One of the arrows landed on the ladder about 2 centimetres from his finger. He advanced forward using it as a shield knocking the goblins off the platform as he passed.

There was a gap from our platform to the other. Kili threw the ladder down between them. We all began to run over it to the other side.

*3rd PERSON POV*

All the dwarves were fighting their best. All of a sudden part of the platform broke. The Goblin King emerged.

'What are you going to do now wizard' he asked.

Gandalf leaned forward and cut the ugly creatures belly. He then cut his ugly looking neck.

'That'll do' the Goblin King exclaimed before falling over the edge. We continued to run. We came to a part where we became surrounded by goblin at all sides.

'Cut the ropes' Gandalf ordered.

Fili cut the two ropes at the back and Gloin dos the same to the front. We began to fall. All of of us clinging on to something for our lives. We all landed with a crash.

'Well that could have been worse' Bofur added helpfully.

Unfortunate the Goblin Kings dead corpse came and landed on everyone.

'You've got to be joking me' Dwalin spat.

'Gandalf' Kili said with a terror mixed with his voice.

Everyone looked up. There was a while legion of goblins warming down.

'There's too many' Dwalin said. 'We can't fight them off.'

'Only one thing can save us now' Gandalf exclaimed.

'What's that' Bombur asked looking at the wizard.

'Sunshine.'

*Gandalf's POV*

We all ran. I led them out of the cave. We were all running down a slope. We reached a place that I thought was safe enough. I counted to see if everyone was here.

'Bilbo, where's the hobbit?' I asked.

Everyone looked around for him.

'I thought I saw him last with Dori' said Gloin.

'Oye don't blame me' Dori said clearly offended.

'I think I saw him slip away when the first collared us' Nori added.

'What happened then, tell me what happened' I asked sternly.

'I'll tell you what happened, Mister Baggins was thinking of his warm bed and his fire, his home, he saw his chance and took it. We won't be seeing him anytime soon, he is long gone' Thorin said harshly.

'No, he's not' Bilbo said. Emerging from the trees. I saw him slip something into his pocket. Something gold, a ring.

'Dear Bilbo we'd given you up, Kili said.

'How on earth did you get past the goblins' Fili asked.

'How indeed' Dwalin said astonished.

'Well why does it matter' I say. I knew something was up.

'It does matter, I want to know, why did you come back, Thorin asks.

'I know you doubt me, I know you have, and your right I often think of home of my soft bed, that my home where I belong. But you don't have a home, it was taken from you, and I want to do everything I can to help you take it back' Bilbo said confidently.

All the dwarves looked at him grateful , even Thorin.

All of a sudden we heard a howl.

'Out of the fire...' Thorin says.

'And into the frying pan' I finished.

'Run RUN!' I yelled.

We began to run for our lives.
