Training

*Mili's POV*

I woke up. I was still in Beorn's house. I sat up. No one was in the room. I looked down at my leg, it wasn't yellow anymore. And it was just forming into a scar. I stood up. I began to hobble towards the door. I opened it. All the dwarves where in there chatting. When they saw me they came over and hugged me. They said they where glad I was awake.

'Where's uncle?' I asked.

'Outside with Gandalf' Dori said.

I began walking towards the door. I got close enough so that I could hear Gandalf and Uncle's conversation.

'If she doesn't wake up, what do I do, her mam will be heartbroken, her brothers will never be the same, and it will be my fault' I heard uncle say.

'Don't worry Thorin she'll wake up, she's a Durin she's a fighter' I heard Gandalf.

After hearing that I walked out. Thorin had his hands in his head. Gandalf saw me first. He gave Thorin a nudge. He looked up. He ran towards me and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back.

'Don't you ever do that to me again' he said.

'I'll try not to' I said.

'Come on let's go inside' Gandalf said.

We walked in. Everyone was sitting there chatting yet again. I walked over to Fili and Kili.

'Wanna do some sword practising?' I asked them.

They jumped up grabbed their swords. I told Kili to bring his bow. We told Thorin where we are going.

'Be back in three hours, that's when we are having dinner' he said.

When we went outside we found a clearing at the back of the house. We set up a target place on the trees where we can shoot our hours. It was Fili against Kili first.

Fili won but Kili wasn't that bothered because he knew he was better at archery. But over the past couple of weeks Kili started to be really good at sword fighting. Next it was me against Fili.

We were fighting for a good few minutes. I won in the end but only because Kili distracted Fili. Me and
Kili then had archery competitions. Hours past.

'We better get back' Fili said.

'Ok' Kili said.

We got back to the house just as the dwarves where standing up. Uncle saw us.

'Just in time for dinner' he said. We followed him and the others out to the kitchen. We ate and talked amongst ourselves. When we made it back to the hay room Uncle told us the plan.

'We must go through Mirkwood' he informed us. 'We leave at dawn, Beorn said that he will give us horses and food, we don't have that much longer till Durin's Day.'

'So do we rest now?' Oin asked.

'Yes rest now and we'll wake at dawn' Uncle said.

Everyone was asleep really soon. Uncle made sure that everyone was asleep before he fell asleep.
