Ch.24 Part 1

Skylars pov

God I have a feeling like something is going to happen. I woke up at 7 in the morning and exited my room hoping to find Ryan and apologize for my behavior last night. I yawned out loud and walked to his door softly knocking on it.

"hello Ryan" I said turning the knob. Once I was inside I gasped at seeing no one in the room. Where is Ryan?

"Ryan!" I yelled but there was still no answer. I ran out and immidiatley mind-linked Jace and Luke.

'Ryan is missing. I want this entire perimeter searched now!' I yelled at the both of them.

'what do you mean he is missing?' Luke stated groggily. I ran in my room and slipped on some shoes and a jacket.

'What do you think I mean. I can't find him so I want the entire territory searched until he is found' I demanded.

'I'm on it Alpha' Jace says. I run downstairs and head out the door quickly to see Jace yelling at some pack members to search the area. Many wolves ran past me and as for Jace he looked up at me with no expression at all. I ran the opposite direction of him and shifted into my wolf while running in the woods. I hope he's ok.

'I can't find his scent' Luke states. I ran towards the pack gates and in a distance I saw a small figure walking towards me. I looked closely and my eyes widened while I howled in joy.

'I found him!He's by the pack gates' I said shifting and running at Ryan. When he saw me I embraced him in a tight hug.

"Ryan don't ever leave like that again!! Why did you leave you idiot, you could have gotten hurt or killed!" I yelled. His cheeks turned bright red and I looked at him confused.

"what's wrong?" I asked.

"Y-your clothes"He said nervously. Oh shit.... I felt my cheeks burning red as I gasped.

"skylar here's a towel" Luke said approaching me with one. Embarrassment flashed my face and I lowered my head.

"sorry" I said. We walked back into the house and I got changed quickly and ran into Lukes office. Shortly everyone came in and it was quiet at first until Luke spoke.

"Ryan why did you leave last night" He said. He left last night? I thought he left this morning.

'he's wearing the same clothes from last night' Andrea said. Ryan looked like something was bothering him but I couldn't tell what It was.

"I wanted to go to the library to read and I just fell asleep there" he said bluntly.

"next time tell us because something could have happened to you" Luke said sternly. I nodded and we all walked out one by one. Before Ryan went in his room I quickly stopped him.

"Ryan" I said. He looked up at me with with his big green eyes and I smiled.

"I um wanted to apologize for the way I acted last night. I was just in a bad mood and-"

"It's fine Skylar...I um have to go take a shower now" He said leaving. I watched as he turned away and never looked back. My gaze soon went to the floor and a tear slid from my cheek and onto the floor. So much pain and secrets that'd been hidden from me. It was now only me standing in the empty hallway and I felt so alone. My dearest loved ones are waiting to be saved and I...I'm so scared. I wiped my tears and suddenly a foul scent crossed me. I could tell It was a scent that only I could smell and not anyone else.

'Andrea' I growled to her. I looked at my hands and saw my veins turning black.

'focus on what you want to be' she said. I balled my hands into fists and felt my fangs coming out. Using my vampire speed, I ran to my room and once I entered I hissed at the sight of him. I walked forward, the door behind me closed and locked by itself. I stared into those cold blue eyes and felt heat in my hands.
