Chapter 6/prt. 2

"David?" I asked hoping he would understand how I might take this. Being a Luna then an Alpha, in charge of 2 packs, might be a little frustrating.

"Yeah"

"I'm not sure about this whole 2 pack thing, I mean I'm glad that I'm an alpha then a Luna but I don't know if I can handle both packs together as one" he looked at me and gave me a smile.

"Don't worry, Sky, you'll be a great Alpha female to both of the packs, I've got your back and you got mine, together we can do this"he said making me smile. He slid his arm around my waist pulling me towards him. We approached my territory and i came across a familiar scent, a scent that I did not only remembers but feared, my father. David must have sensed me and slightly nudged me on my side. "Skylar, you okay, you seem like you are about to see a ghost or something" we'll he was right, to me my father was like a demon, a very cruel demon that beat me, he beat me till I was about 14, and till this day I can still feel the burning sensations he always gave me by smacking me, punching me, kicking me, even shifting in his wolf form and attacking me. Thank god for my healing.

"Um well, I just smelled something I didn't really like, that's all" I didn't want him to know about my father, the last thing I need is to have David literally tear him into pieces because of his anger.

"What did you smell, cause from your expression 30 seconds ago, it looked liked you smelled something or someone that seemed to have given you a fright" he said amused.

"We'll, it was-I uh-the-" I didn't know what to say, he would find out sooner or later, or else I would have to tell him, if I kept it a secret then he would really go all out.

"Skylar, are you hiding something?" Ah dang it, I didn't want to tell him, if I did he would be even more made, beside everyone else beating me, my father was the worst. He stopped and looked at me.

'Andrea what do I say, should I tell him'

'Well, there is no other way to say it, he is going to find out either way' she said. I held on to David's arm tightly so he wouldn't let go if he tried to take off.

"David, the scent was my fathers" I said.

"His scent was what made you so scared?"

"No, his scents is what made me fear him for life, he left when when I was 14 and basically beat me all my life" I said. He stood frozen for a moment, he didn't move and his breathing slowed down a little bit. I shook him a little bit, and he looked at me and continued walking as if I said nothing. "David? Are you okay?" He didn't respond he didn't even let go of me but held me closer and tighter. We were still walking and I finally saw the pack house.

"Skylar" David said in a serious tone.

"David p-" he cut me off, and his tone softened.

"No-I won't fight, I-if he touches you again, I don't know if I will be able to control myself" he said calmly. I nodded and held his hand while walking towards the house. As I reached to open the door knob, the door swung open, I looked up to see my mother in tears, like she lost something. When she looked at me, I thought she was about to hit me, but she ran and hugged me.

"Skylar, I'm so sorry, we lied to you, it was never my intention to put Jason in the alpha position, I-" before she could finish, her head was pulled back, my eyes met those same, green eyes that I never forgot when I was 14. He dragged my mom back by her hair and threw her on the ground screaming at her.

"Your a lier, Jason was to be alpha of the Red Moon pack!" I ran over to her side and tried helping her up but He grabbed me by the hair pulling me back and grabbed my neck, smashing my body in the wall. "And as for you, my little princess, your time is not yet up" he whispered. Before he could do more, there was a ferocious roar that came from behind him. He turned around and there stood David, looking at him with full anger, he ripped my father off of me. He grabbed him by the back of his shirt and used force to yank him outside, they both shifted into their wolves fighting.
