Chapter 2

Skylars pov

Once I ran past him I headed straight towards the woods, maybe to think a little. I needed to get my mind off of him. I stopped running and looked back hoping I was at least far out to not smell the delicious smell. Luckily know one was following so I kept walking further and further into the woods until I stopped at a beautiful lake. I threw my bag on the ground,took off my converse and put my feet in the cold water. I felt refreshed when the water hit me, it made me feel like I'm free. Just looking at the water made me want to jump in their and swim. Maybe that's the solution, I will take a swim. In that moment I was getting up, I head a crack in woods. I wasn't alone. I slowly picked up my bag and grabbed my converse slowly walking back making sure not to be loud and once I took my last step back, I heard a growl. Then it hit me once I sniffed the air, the intoxicating minty smell I couldn't resist. I ran over to the tree and before I could walk any further, there stood the man of my dreams looking at me with those same blue eyes.

David's pov

The boys and I walked out of the parking lot with girls trying to flirt with us and boys giving us the envy look. I just smiled at them and one of my best friends Jake, sniffed the air and landed his eyes on a tall, blonde girl with green eyes, they both smiled at each other until jake growled and she immediately ran over to him. Before I could ask where he was going with the girl an intoxicating smell hit my nose. It was a vanilla smell and it smelled so...ravishing. I followed it and it lead to a beautiful girl that was standing there looking at me with wide eyes. She was perfect. Her body was perfect, the way her hips curved were perfect and those eyes, those mixed colored eyes were beautiful. She was absolutely breath taking. I finally got out of the crowd and walked towards her but before I could even say anything she bolted past me like she was trying to get away from me. Pain hit me all over as I felt the grip of my other best friend (Aka> Beta) Jace, hand on my shoulder.

"Whats wrong David, are you okay, you look like you were just rejected or something" Jace said as I growled.

"I'm gonna go, give me all my stuff when I get back" I said as he nodded and walked away. I ran into the woods hoping that she would be in there. I ran all over searching for her scent but couldn't get a thing. I shifted into my black wolf and ran faster and deeper into the woods until that same beautiful smell hit my nose. I stopped and saw a lake where the most beautiful girl laid with her feet in the water. She had beautiful blonde hair, and those eyes, they were beautiful. I slowly walked behind the tree hoping she wouldn't see me but before I could shift back I accidentally stepped on a stick which made a loud crack. I looked back towards my mate and saw her already on her feet getting ready to run. Before she had the chance, I growled at her decision stopping her from what she was doing. She sniffed the air and her eyes landed on the tree. I shifted quickly and put on my extra pair of shorts. I knew she couldn't run from me again this time. Once I took my first step out, she was already there, staring at me with those same gorgeous eyes.

Skylars pov

Once I saw him standing there with that sexy 6-pack showing, everything stopped. I looked at him from bottom to top, he was huge compared to me. I was about 5'5 and he seemed to be 6'2. He grinned at my expression towards his body making my cheeks turn red in embarrassment.

"Hi" I spoke. He smiled at me again and I couldn't stop but grin like a fool at him.

"You look cute when you blush" he said making my cheeks turn even more red. I put my head down so he couldn't see my tomato face anymore.

"My name is David Alpha of the Moonshine pack and you are...." he said as my eyes widened. Holy fudge bars, he's an alpha that's my mate.

"I, um, my name is Skylar but you can just call me sky, whatever is fine with you and I am in the Red moon pack" I said hoping he wouldn't see my face that was litterly and tomato color. I bit my lip hoping he wouldn't see me once again and he chuckled at my reaction walking over to me raising my chin up with his 2 fingers.

"If I were you, I wouldn't be doing that so much because so far, you've turned me on" he said. Jesus I feel like my heart is going to explode. I couldn't get away from him, he was like a magnet to me that I was so attached to. Argh, I need to get out of here before I really make a mistake. I looked around and saw my opening across the lake. I would just have to go around it. I backed away from him not wanting him to touch me anymore and heard him growl in frustration when I backed away. "Where do you think your going" he said as he walked towards me and put both hands on my waist pushing me towards his body. I tried to wiggle out but his grasp was too tight.

"Get off of me" I whined. He growled and pulled me away, his hands in my shoulders and his eyes pitch black dark. In his eyes I could tell they were full of lust. I knew any second now he would make a move so I had to do something that I really regretted. Before he could move his face towards mine, I kneed him right where the sun don't shine in his member.

"Gaaaaaa!" He screamed as he fell on his knees holding his crotch.

"I'm so sorry David" I said taking off running in the woods in full speed. I knew I had to go through his territory but luckily everyone was at school. Right when I crossed his territory something told me to turn back but I knew I had to do this. I pushed my legs to run faster but I didn't know how long it could be before I slow down. I finally saw the lake again and made a turn. I was about to jump over and cross to my territory but I tripped over a branch and landed right on another tree hitting my head hard. My vision was kind of blurry because I hit my head on it and blood drip down. I held my head and my vision came back to see a large black wolf standing in front of me ready to pounce but it only whimpered. I let my hand drop and more blood poured out making me groan in pain. I closed my eyes for one second and opened them back up to see the wolf gone. I tried to get up but my leg was in pain, dam and I would be so happy if this was a dream. "Ehh" I said holding my head with one hand and my leg in the other. My eyes closed again, I felt like blacking out any second. Once I opened them up again I was being carried into someones warm arms. I felt sparks explode everywhere around me and I knew who this was but I was too weak to actually get away now. I tried wiggling around but since it was no use he just chuckled and kissed my forehead whispering---

"Don't worry kitten, it'll be alright, I'll take good care of you" he said before my eyes closed and darkness took over me.
