Hey everyone! Or- More specifically Celestial__Fox, I know I haven't written in a long time and I feel like I owe you an explanation...
Firstly, I have a boyfriend! And we're really happy right now. Though, throughout our relationship, there's been a girl trying to break us up.. We've been trying to deal with it, but it kind of took a lot out of me.
Secondly, I kind of got writer's block. For 6 months- god its been that long?- Anyway. I felt like I couldn't really connect to my story like I used to, so I thought if I took a break from it, I'd be able to focus on myself. It- kinda worked..?
Thirdly, I started writing this when I was in my second semester of ninth grade. I'm now in my second semester of eleventh grade! I honestly can't believe it's been this long.
Fourthly, around the last time I was writing, I had finally blocked my biological father. I didn't feel like he was a father to me anymore and felt more of a blood-related obligation to keep talking with him. He's out of my life now, but he keeps trying to come back in.
And finally, as of this year, my Grandpa on my mother's side died from dementia.. There was some talk about it being Lewy Body Dementia, but we never got a real answer because we decided not to do a post-mortem autopsy. My mother had me when she was young (SHE WAS A CONSENTING ADULT), and I grew up with my grandparents basically being my second parents. I would go over to their house every other weekend for sleepovers, and on Fridays, my mom and I would go to their house for family dinners.
Sadly, this isn't an update that the next chapter will be soon, but it's more of me trying to tell you that I haven't forgotten about it, just been emotionally not able to deal with it. I will be trying to finish the 18th chapter, but don't get your hopes up about it being soon.
Thank you Celestial__Fox for being one of my biggest non-familiar supporter through out all of this, and sorry I've been gone for so long without an explanation.
