Justine's Pov:

All I could think about is Craig. His chocolate skin complexion, his beautiful dark brown eyes, his sexy voice, everything. He's so.... Different. Every guy that has tried to start something with me, were all the same. That's why I haven't dated since I was 17. Now I'm not sure anymore, Craig is making me feel these feelings that I've never felt before and I kinda like it.

I was now looking for jobs that are hiring. I needed one and quick. When I first moved in with Crystal, she gave me money, that I of course refused many times, to have for me and Jamie. It's now almost gone and I'm not letting her give me anymore, so I really need a job. As I was looking through this newspaper, I got a call from Craig. I smiled then answered the phone.

"Hello." I said into the phone. "Hey Beautiful." He said. I, of course smiled, like always. "I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to lunch today at 1?" He asked me. "Sure, that's no problem at all." I told him. "Cool, can't wait to see you." He said. "Me too." I said then we hung up. I got up to get ready since it was already 12:30. I didn't want to get to dressed up though, don't want him thinking I actually tried hard. When I finished getting ready, there was a knock at the door and I went to go get it. When I opened the door, I saw Craig standing there smirking at me. He's just so..... Sexy.

"Ready to go beautiful?" He asked. I swear, for how much he calls me beautiful, that he doesn't remember my name. "Yep." I said. Then he grabbed my hand and walked me to the car. We got in the car and drove off to Chili's. The whole ride at every red light or stop sign, I could feel him looking at me. I would take glances at him here and there to. When we got to Chili's and sat down, I looked through the menu and already knew what I wanted. When I looked back up, he was staring at me again. Creepy....

We ordered our drinks and food and began eating. "So Justine, how's everything been going?" He asked me. "Not so good. I'm trying to look for a job but none are hiring and the ones that are hiring, I have no experience in. So yeah." I told him. "Oh I'm sorry bout that. Are you planning on staying with Crystal and Jacob longer?" He asked. "No, I'm actually planning on leaving next week. I can't depend on them anymore longer, it just isn't right." I told him.

He frowned at me. "But where will you go. You don't have money to go to anywhere." He said. "Well I could rent a motel room for a while with the money I have and hopefully before my money runs out ill find a job." I told him. He shook his head at me. "Justine you can't depend on that. What if when you run out your money, you still won't have a job? What are you going to do then? Sleep on the streets? Look just stay with Crystal and Jacob a lil while longer. Please." I sighed. "I can't do that Craig." He just kept staring at me. "And why do you keep staring at me like that?" I asked him. "I'm trying to figure your stubborn ass out." He told me. "Whatever." I told him sighing and rolling my eyes.

We finished eating our food then we went to the park. I was now getting on the swings. Craig stood behind me and started pushing me. "Justine could you tell me about why you don't like depending on the people that want to help you? He asked me. I sighed. "You really wanna know huh." I said. "Yeah. I just don't understand you when it comes people trying to help. So please tell me." He said. I sighed. Here goes nothing.

"When I was younger, my mom and dad had major problems in their relationship and it got so bad to the point where my dad just left us, all alone with no money or nothing. My mom could barely pay the bills, and me, my sister, and brother could never get anything new. The worst part about it was that my brother was really sick and was in and out of the hospital. My mom couldn't even afford his medical bills. She started getting help from family members and friends but since she was doing that for so long and did it so much, they thought she was just using them for their money and so they stopped helping. They even stopped talking to us. They hated us.
