The smell of wet grass and damp wood was crawling onto the wall and corridors of the school, as the sun hid itself from the sky. It was a foggy Saturday on the school grounds, and if Hogwarts students were quite used to the blurry and cold atmosphere, foreign students were as gloomy as the weather. One thing remained unchanged however : the feeling of excitement towards the tournament. Now was the time to bet on the champions for everyone only had one question in the mouth : Who was going to be chosen ? One thing for sure, your name and Cedric's were in everybody's mouth.

The Goblet of Fire was a magnificent and powerful artefact, one that made impossible for the chosen champion to escape participating in the competition for the magical contract that bonded them and the tournament. Mr Crouch had said it himself : Once you entered the Triwizard Tournament, you couldn't go back.

In that room where stood the Goblet of Fire, students sparkled with anticipation. You watched as Cedric put his name inside the goblet of fire, with yet an uneasy feeling. One that made your spine tremble with a thrill. He stepped out of the fine white line that surrounded the Cup which was the making of Dumbledore, who had put an age spell around the magical object. It was weird really, something was feeling out of place, or wrong. Maybe you were scared ? Scared he'd be designated against you, or was it something else...

"Your turn now." Said Cedric to you as he let out a sight, bringing you back to reality.

You took a breath and entered in the magical perimeter. You dropped a piece of paper with your name inside the cup; watched it burn with the fire, and almost burning your finger with the flames. But before you could process your action a loud bang came by the doors of the room, you looked in your back and caught sight of the Twins making a big entrance. They were shouting their geniuses while you looked annoyed at them. But crossing eyes with George you violently blushed remembering last night's events.

Last night, after the Welcoming feast.

You flew out the Great Hall with a tormented mind, replaying the moment you had let yourself carried away because of anger. You had almost revealed yourself, or more your other self.

"Y/n !" screamed George as he caught up with you outside the Great Hall.

You looked around, nobody was here. But you still led him to an empty corridor pretending to run away from him. Turning to your left, George grasped your wrist strongly stopping you in your run.

"What ?" You asked putting distance between him and you now in an empty corner.

You crossed your arms as if to protect yourself from the almost unbearable agony, that being vulnerable was. Vulnerable because he could have figure it out and he could have seen you, completely. It would have made you betray your secret and Dumbledore himself, for he, before anybody else, didn't want anybody to find out about your ability.

"What was that just now ?"

"Hmmm, I don't know ? You saying I was heartless and I didn't like my friends ?"

His eyes twitched for a second, a flicker of sadness died in his stare for a very quick moment. George regretted what he had said in the Great Hall, but he didn't think much of it. Actually none of it at all.

"Yeah well as if you didn't throw a fit in there too." He spat.

You laughed darkly. Yes, it was true, but it was also the first time you ever felt...jealousy. You looked away with nothing to say except a replying with a dead stare.
