Chapter 9: It's All My Fault

Tris POV

We walk down the dark tunnels of the Dauntless Compound, our footsteps echoing down the hallways.

Every step I take, the more I become nervous.

"Maybe we should go to Zeke first?" Tori said. Uriah's eyes widen.

"Y-yeah, s-sure." he said.

"Now I'm nervous." Uriah whispered to me.

"What aparment is Zeke in again?" Tori asks.

"Room 53"

We walk down to the hallways and I started counting the doors.

59... 58... 57... 56... 55... 54...

53. Tori jerks her head at the door, motioning for Uriah to knock.

Uriah took in a deep sharp breath before knocking twice.

Not after a few seconds, the door opens revealing Zeke.

He sees us and his face immediately pales, and his eyes widen.

"Hey, bro." Uriah said scratching the back of his neck.

"U-Uriah?" Zeke stutters.

"In the flesh." Uriah said while grinning. Zeke engulfs him into a bone-crushing hug.

"Awwww, bromance." Marlene said.

Zeke jerks his head up to her direction.

"Marlene?" he said.

"Yep." she said.

"H-how are you guys here?" he said.

"We got a lot of explaining to do." Uriah said.

"Zeke? who is i---" Shauna wheels herself towards our direction and her eyes widen.

"L-Lynn?!" she yells.

"Yeah it's me sis." Lynn said and hugged Shauna. "I'm here. I'm okay."

She said.

They all exchanged hugs until Will moves out of my way. Sht.

They all turn their gazes towards me. The blood from Zeke and Shauna's faces drained out as they yell,

"TRIS??!!"

"Uhh, yeah?" I say out of words.

"Zeke hugs me and I hug Shauna.

"Four misses you. A lot." Zeke said. "He has never been the same since."

"He missed me?" I say.

"You have no idea. You know he tried to kill himself a few times, luckily we stopped him."

"What!!??" I say shocked.

"Okay, we just have to drop Uri and Lynn here. we better get going. Nice to see you again, Zeke, Shauna." Tori said.

"I'll just stay here with Uri." Mar said.

"Wait, Tori. Dis you know that your brother is here?". Zeke said then Tori stop dead on her tracks.

"What?" Tori said.

"He's on room 121." Zeke said.

"Thanks." Tori said, still stunned of what he said.

"My brother's alive?" Tori asked us.

"Yeah. we met him at the bureau." I say.

"I got to go." Tori said, keeping a straight face.
