Chapter 12: All I Wanted

Ok? Ok. Onward with the chapter!

Tobias' POV

I head towards the train tracks and hop on the train, which is luckily on schedule.

I know a place she will go apart from the chasm.

I sit at the edge of the train, letting my feet dangle.

Yesterday was just another normal day for me, and I never expected these turn of events that are happening now.

That time when they knocked on my door, I see her beautiful face that is filled with love, and sadness. . . hope. The face that I only see in my dreams. And that time, I felt that this was all just a dream. That she was never there. But what happened these past few hours proved me that this is all real. That all of them are alive. Including Tris. My Tris.

I stare out the train and see the huge ferris wheel in sight. Flashbacks of the time when we went for capture the flag in initiation came flooding through me.

She must be there.

I prepare myself and jump out of the train, landing on my feet.

I started walking around, until i hear faint sobs coming from above the ferris wheel.

Tris.

I hurriedly walk to the bottom of the wheel, grabbing a railing and pulling myself up, careful not to make a sound.

As I grab another railing, I can hear her saying some words but I'm too far to hear. I climb up faster to hear what she was saying.

"--- already happy." She says, staring at the distance.

"Zeke got Uriah back. And Uriah and Marlene have been together again. Lynn and Shauna were also reunited. So is Will and Christina. Tori may be also very happy that she saw her brother again." She said and stifled a sob.

"What about him? He deserves to be happy too. Why is this so unfair?!" She said. I immediately knew that she was talking about me.

"I wish he would accept me again. I know that I have been so hard to control 'cause I'm... reckless but, I wish he would just give me a chance to explain." She continues

I hate seeing her like this. It breaks my heart all over again. And she's blaming herself about what happened.

I just want to go up and hug her and kiss her like there's no tomorrow. Christina was right. How could I be so stupid? Why didn't I just listen to her when she explained.

"I miss him. So much. I'm sorry. I'm sorry..." She buries her face between her knees. I feel hot tears stream down my face.

"Tris." I say. She jerks her head up but didn't turned to my direction. She seemed unsure if she heard me or if it was just her.

"Tris." I say again. She turns around and stands up.

I stare at her face blotchy face. Her jaw was badly bruised ans she has a cut on her lips.

She stares at me and tears started flowing down her cheeks again.

"T-Tobias... Tobias please, let me explain. I'm sorry... I--"

I didn't let her finish. I ran up to her and hugged her tightly.

"There's no need to explain. I love you. I missed you much, Tris." I say, my voice muffled because I was burying my face on the crook of her neck.

She pulls away from our hug and she crashes both of our lips together, Our lips moving in a synchronized way. I feel every inch where her lips touch mine. It's been so long. So long since the last time i had her soft lips on mine.

This is what I wanted.

I wanted her to be with me again and I NEED her to stay with me forever.

After a while, we both had to pull away for air, our foreheads still touching.

"Please don't leave me again, Tris." I say.

"I promise."

Hi guys! Sorry for the short chapter, i have a headache because of the program we had yesterday. I was so nervous because duhh i'm in 7th Grade and the other ones who joined are juniors and seniors, but I still tried my best and I WONNNN!!!! ACA-BELIEVE IT I WON!!!!
