Lily was cold.

She woke up on a freezing marble floor, in a room with no light. Her head ached horribly, and she guessed she'd been hit on the head. Lily sat up, wrapped her arms around herself, and shivered, thinking one thing.

Where am I?

The last thing she remembered was Tonks helping her up and then... Tonks!

"T-Tonks?" she managed shakily. "Tonks? Nymphadora!"

"D-don't call me that," came a reply from the right of Lily.

"Tonks!" she almost screamed. "Where are we? Why's it so cold?"

"Relax! Where are you?"

"R-right here, but -"

She felt Tonks's hand touch her arm. "There you are. Stay close... Oh, where's my wand...? My wand's gone!"

"Indeed it is, Nymphadora." The voice was too cold. Too high. Too evil. It was wrong in every way. "We wouldn't want you causing us trouble, now would we?"

Tonks yelped in surprise and grabbed Lily. "Who are you?"

"You know who I am, Nymphadora."

"No, I don't."

"Hmm. Would this help?"

Suddenly, the room came to life. It was a big room, like an over-sized living room cleared out, and everything was either black or a dark shade of green. The floor was swirls of green and black together, and Lily instantly hated it. It was too... Slytherin-like.

Lily almost screamed when she figured out who they had been talking to all this time. Her vision was blurry and her head hurt badly, but she could make him out.

He was wearing a black cloak. He had long fingernails, that we're currently tapping impatiently on his white wand. He was bald, showing off his pale white scalp. His eyes were red, glaring. He had no nose, instead only slits.

Voldemort.

"Y-y-yes, that h-h-helped," Tonks squeaked.

Lily was too horrified to speak.

"I have no use for you as of now, Metamorphagus," said the Dark Lord, sneering. "But you might come of use for me yet. Potter, on the other hand..."

He turned his penetrating gaze on Lily, whose eyes widened in fear.

"She is my ticket to ruling. Harry Potter will hand himself over for the girl, and I will be triumphant!"

Lily's mind was whirling. If Harry (from this time) turned himself over and died for Lily, it wouldn't work, because she would never have been born... or James, or Albus. They'd disappear from the world entirely.

It was a trick.

When Lily dared open her mouth, she was hit on the head yet again.

MEANWHILE...

"This is your stop," the man riding the bus said. When no one replied out of shock, he rolled his eyes. "Oi, I don't have all day!"

Harry (O) quickly cast glamour charms on hisself and Ginny (O), and everyone followed his example, including Sirius, who transformed into Padfoot.

The Knight Bus left them standing on a corner. There were no vehicles on the roads, and everyone was silent. The only signs of life were the flickering lamppost and the faint sound of crickets.

"We can't go back to Grimlaud," said Bill quietly. "That's where they would expect us to go. We need to go where they wouldn't."

"But -" Ginny (O) began to protest.

"Don't argue, Ginny," said Harry (O). "So where shall we go?"

"Back to the Burrow?" Ron (Y) suggested. "We could think of a plan there."

"No, I have an idea," said Hermione (O). "It might be... risky, though."

"Yeah?" Remus pressed. "Tell us, then!"

"Well... You know how we went hunting for the Horcruxes?" She was talking to Harry and Ron now. "We could kill Voldemort early. C'mon, we know his to kill them and where they are, and it would be easier to get to Lily and Tonks!"

Ginny's (O) face lit up, but Harry said quickly, "No! Bad idea! That's such a bad plan -"

"I think it's brilliant!" Ginny (O) said proudly. "You're awesome, Hermione."

"BAD idea!" Harry (O) repeated. "We're not - that's not an option!"

"Who said it wasn't?"

"I did!"

"But it's a good idea!"

"Yeah, to get us killed," said George (O). "And tainted for life..."

"C'mon," Ginny (O) whined. "It couldn't change anything too drastically, I imagine -"

"Madre, fadre, nomas fighting!" James randomly came in.

Ginny (O) shook her head at her son, sighing, and turned back to Harry. "I say we listen to Hermione. She's smart."

"Very. A genius!" Albus burst out.

"So flattered, thanks," Hermione said, rolling her eyes.

"Let's vote on it!" Ron (O) said randomly. "For Hermione's plan, raise your hand!"

Most everyone raised their hand except Harry (O) and Teddy.

"You're my new favorite child," Harry (O) said to him.

"Wait, was that for Hermione's?" Ron (O) nodded, and Teddy's hand shot up. "Sorry, I was kind of distracted - what was that?"

Harry (O) scowled at him and didn't answer.

"Am I the best now?!" James asked Harry (O).

"No, Albus is still there."

"No! I'm never heald to such high standards!"

"Idiot," Albus muttered.

"I'm not an idiot, you idiot!"

"No, I'm not the idiot, you're just being an idiot, idiot!"

"Nuh-uh! I might be an idiot, but you're the most idiot!"

"Idiot!"

"Jerk!"

"Hypocrite!"

"SMALL CHIL-"

"Say one more thing," Ginny (O) snapped at them. "I dare you."

"I chicken," James said quickly.

Albus laughed shortly and turned away, muttering, "I win, idiot."

"We need a place to stay for the night," said George (O). "We'll figure this out tomorrow."

"The Leaky Cauldron?" Ron (O) suggested.

"Naw, too exposed," said Bill.

"We could contact Dumbledore," said Harry (O).

George (O) snorted. "Pffftt, Harry, I can see that now. 'Yeah Dumbledore, we accidentally sent our kids back in time. Lily and Tonks kinda got kidnapped by Voldemort and now we need a place to stay while we argue over if Ginny can come with us.' Great plan!"

"Well when have my plans not worked?"

Ginny (O) laughed without humor. "A lot. Remember that time we were in Florida for the first time and we got lost and ended up in Disney Land? Yeah. But I'm sure it'll work out this time."

"Yeah. So should we contact Dumbledore? No, Ron, we're not voting!"

*

It was probably ten at night when all of them walked into the Headmaster's office.

"Hey, I've been here!" James exclaimed.

"Ten too many times," Ginny (O) muttered.

They all still had their glamour charms on, so Dumbledore didn't recognize them.

"Ah, I got your message, Remus," said Dumbledore from his desk, clapping his hands together. "A pleasure to see you again. I see you brought along quite a group."

Remus laughed dryly. "Yeah... Quite the group, I'll tell you, Albus. Is Sirius safe here?"

"He can transform back, I'm sure. It's far to late for any disruptions."

"Merlin, I hate those fleas," Sirius said angrily as he transformed. "Oh hey, Dumbledore. You're sure Sniv- I mean, Snape won't barge in and try to kill me again? It'll happen."

"I'm sure you heard of the attack that happened at Grimlaud," said Arthur.

"Oh, yes," said Dumbledore. "Poor Nymphadora... Don't fret, we've sent out a search party."

"What about Lily?!" Ginny (O) blurted.

"Who?"

"Take off the charm, Bill," said Harry (O), sighing.

Bill flicked his wand. Suddenly Ginny's (O) short blonde hair turned red again and grew longer, and her eyes turned back to brown. Harry's (O) hair turned back to black. Hermione's hair curled and went brown.

Similar things happened to Fleur, Bill, Ron, and George (all O).

Dumbledore stared.

"You guessed it," said Albus, breaking the silence. "Time-Traveling! So nice to meet you, Dumbledore, I'm named after you, you know!"

"Merlin's beard." Dumbledore was in awe. "Harry, is that you? And... you all too! You Time-Traveled...?"

"Um... actually I did on accident," said James. "And I brought Al and Lily and Rose and Hugo and Teddy with me and they're kind of mad at me now... Yeah. So Mum and Dad came to get us, and then there was the attack, and now Lily's gone."

"The point is we need to form a plan to get Lily and Tonks back," said Harry (O). "Voldemort took them." Ginny (O) hid her face on her husband's shoulder, while he took her hand and went on. "We... We need to get to them quick so they don't get hurt or... anything."

"Agreed," said Hermione (O). "But what are we going to do with... um... Our younger selves?"

The future people turned their heads toward the present time people, their younger selves - they had been terribly quiet the entire time.

"I'm not going anywhere," Harry (Y) said quickly.

"Nor am I," said Ron (Y).

"I'm not going to be left alone again," said Ginny (Y). "We can come with. I always miss everything!"

"Noseless men cower before us," Fred and George (Y) insisted. "And besides, we're of age."

"Take them along, of course," said Harry (O) with a grin.
