Chapter nine

The dreaded moment had arrived. I linked arms with Jenny for support and she smiled softly. Instantly we met eyes and he looked at me with such disgust, such anger that it made me want to crawl up into a ball and just cry. Becca seemed pleased with his reaction and sped off to the bathroom with Emily.

"Finally!" Jenny clapped. She told me the whole story about how she had met up with Harry and her father was fine and she faked the phone call. "Now go see him in the biology room!"

The biology room was an empty classroom at the back off the science building. Nobody really knew that the classroom even existed apart from Jenny and me when we were trying to find shelter from the cold without being kicked out by the teachers. The room had a table and a few chairs and a whiteboard. Two small windows that led to the roof which had a dozen abandoned footballs. There was also a Jesus statue however his nose had fallen off.

I took a deep breathe before entering the room only to see Harry sat down on his phone.

"Hey." I smiled walking over to him. I sighed tears threatening to fall once again. "I'm so sorry."

"Don't worry." He wiped my tears away with his sleeve.

"I'm still with, Niall." I sniffled feeling guilty for lying.

"I know." He ran his hands through his hair, "I'll wait for you."

"That's unfair though. You don't have to."

"I want to." He wraps me into an embrace and kisses the top of my head.

"Give me a week." I said. He pulled back confused. "A week for me to decide if I want to stay with Niall, or leave him."

"And what happens after a week?" he asked.

"Well if I choose Niall then you can be with whoever you want; we would just be friends." He nods agreeing. I begin to walk away to go to class but he stops me.

"You deserve better than him. Someone that won't take you for granted."
