~~~Quote: "Someone had to do it...That son of a bitch killed my President", US mob identity and assassin of Lee Harvey Oswald Jack Ruby, (March 25, 1911-January 3, 1967), who offed Oswald because of his belief that Oswald murdered JFK", unquote~~~
Oswald was followed by Marrion Baker. After James "Jim" Thomas Tague, (October 17, 1936-), (a native of Plainfield, Indiana), was shot while having lunch with a friend. He was near President Kennedy's motorcade, near a bridge, when he was injured. He eventually survived...and became a minor player in "The American Political Crime of the 1960's".
By 12:40 PM, Earlene Roberts, a housekeeper, noticed Oswald get out of a taxi, then rush to his "Rooming House": the address was: 1026 North Beckley Avenue. By now it was 1:00 PM.
At a Bus Stop near Beckley Avenue, Oswald was minding his own business. Then, within seconds, Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit, (September 18, 1924 – November 22, 1963), having knowledge of Oswald's criminal behaviour, attempted to arrest Oswald as the assassin of President Kennedy. Oswald, who was angry that he was going to a Dallas, Texas jail, murdered the young Officer in cold blood.
Tippit's death fuelled a incensed American public. They vowed to kill Oswald. Tippit had been married with several children at the time of his death.
*Tippit served in the US Military-and was honoured with his work. He joined the Police because he loved law and order. And, sadly, he served the Dallas Police Department to the best of his ability. But he died at the age of 39*.
