~~~Quote: "Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator...And change has its enemies", assassinated US Lawyer, Attorney-General, and civil rights activist, Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy, (November 20, 1925-June 6, 1968)~~~
With the help of veteran Arkansas Democrat Senator, John Little McClellan, (February 25, 1896 – November 28, 1977), the Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman, they took down the mob. And, in doing so, the mob who were responsible for, in some part, in JFK's assassination on November 22, 1963, was payback by RFK for his brother's brutal, and bloody, death in Dallas, Texas.
And, after the hearings ended, the Mob had had to find more ways to wield their criminal influence. And, by 1960, RFK published: "The Enemy Within", (which detailed the events described in the last couple of chapters).
McClellan was a U.S. Representative (1935–1939); and a US Senator for a staggering 34 years, (1943-1977), *the first couple of years during WWII*.
