4. sapatos

SAPATOS. Gamit pangpaa. Maihahalintulad ko ang sarili ko sa isang sapatos na noong nakahanap ka ng bago, 'di mo na ako pinapansin. Nagsawa.

"Den!" Ly shouts as she runs to her. Dennise tucks the volleyball under her arm, surprised to see that Alyssa was back in the gym kahit na 1 hour pa ago pa sila pinaalis. She was stuck with clean up duty since late nanaman siya for practice.

"Why are you here?" Den asks, she didn't mean to sound rude pero she was genuinely curious as to why bumalik ito.

"besh tulungan mo naman ako oh."

Now den was really curious, minsan lang humihingi ng favor sa kanya ito.

"what is it ba?"

"You're bestfriends with laura right? yung courtside reporter natin? eh kasi I need to borrow a book from her para sa psych class ko and Ella says na she has it, galing states pa nga, so help me please." Ly looks at Den with her round puppy dog eyes and she just couldn't say no.

"Sige na nga, but you owe me libre."

"sure, always naman kita nililibre kahit walang okasyon."

Den smiles at her.

1 week has passed since Den introduced Alyssa to Laura and in the span of one week twice lang umuwi si Ly within curfew. She tried to talk to Ella about it pero ang sinasabi lang nito ay gumagala lang si Ly around katipunan with Laura and her friends. Naiinis na nga si Den kasi nawawalan na siya ng tulog because of Ly's antics. She always waits for Alyssa downstairs even though the rest of them tell her to go to sleep.

"bwisit to si Alyssa ah, it's 2 am and she's still not home." Den says angrily as she checks her watch. "Porket nawala lang si Ate Dzi inaabuso na niya yung freedom niya as team captain." Pahabol pa nito.

Ella yawns, she decided to stay awake with Den kahit alam niyang matagal talaga uuwi si Ly, she wanted to persuade her friend to sleep since she's been like this for a whole week.

"she's a big girl na den, and besides, minsan lang magka social life tong si bakulaw hayaan mo na." Ella stands up and grabs Den's arm, "may training pa tayo bukas and It's getting late, pumapangit ka na nga eh, tingnan mo yang eyebags mo nakakadiri."

Den crosses her arms against her chest and raises an eyebrow. Kung mataray si Den na may tulog mas mataray siya kung wala.

"Ella kung gusto mo na matulog go ahead, pero I'm waiting here and that's final."

"kung asan ka masaya doon tayo. Oh sige, goodnight na. itong mga in love talaga nakakasira ng ganda." Ella mutters as she climbs up the stairs, her eyes barely opening from the lack of sleep.

"anong sabi mo?"

"wala, wala, hintayin mo na nga yun, pero walang sisihan kung mukhang kapre ka na bukas, buhok pa lang pang kapre na."

Binatohan ni Den si Ella ng throw pillow galing sa couch. Tumama naman ito sa likod ng ulo niya.

"Kung hindi lang talaga ako inaantok makakatikim ka talaga."

"I beg to differ." Den yells back as she hears the closing of a door, indicating na wala na si Ella sa labas.

"Close na sila? 1 week lang close na sila? Hindi naman kami ginagabi ng ganito ni Ly pag umaalis kami." Den thinks sadly as she checks her watch again.

Den hears the sound of a car stopping outside, followed by the sound of people laughing, and alam niyang sina laura yun.

Tumayo siya sa harapan ng door at naghintay. Inayos rin niya buhok niya since she was conscious of what Ella had told her earlier.

Kapre na kung kapre pero mas maganda parin ako kay Laura hmph. Den whispers to herself.

Alyssa opens the door, nakangiti pa siya habang inaakbayan si Laura. Si Laura naman all smiles rin as she laughs at Ly.

"You're late." Den says, straight to the point.

"Sorry kung matagal nakauwi tong si phenom den, idea niya kasi na magbar eh, sabi niya boring daw kayo kasama, kaloko rin to pag nakainom, may inner party animal." Laura laughs as if she remembers something from earlier, "anyways she's all yours."

Laura hands Ly over to den. Den puts Ly's hand over her shoulders as she struggles to balance her since Ly was taller than her.

"Game pa ako!!!!" Alyssa yells out as she uses her other arm to reach for Laura.

"Ly ano ba, stop moving nahihirapan na ako."

"Night ly, bukas nanaman!" Laura waves at both Alyssa and Den before she returns to her car and drives away.

Den assists Ly back to their room and sets her on the bed.

The silence is deafening.

Kung kanina parang baliw si Alyssa sa sobrang tuwa, now she was scarily quiet. She was just laying on the bed looking at the ceiling.

"Ly?"

"Hmm" alyssa grumbles, her drunken state fading as she keeps her gaze on the wall. She knows she's in trouble but she thought it would be better if she acted dead ass drunk so the punishment will lessen.

"What's happening to you?" Den says as she lays down next to Alyssa and looks at her face.

"Di ko rin alam."

"Seriously, this isn't you. Hindi ka naman mahilig uminom eh." Den caresses Alyssa's face, she doesn't know what's gotten into her, pero she finds comfort in the fact na hindi to maalala ni alyssa in the morning.

Alyssa could feel electricity where Den's fingertips touched and she exploded.

"You wanna know my problem?" She sits up, causing Den to do the same.

"You're my problem! Ginagawa mo tong mga to, you wait for me and become clingy and touchy feely, tapos pag may mahanap kang iba, yung affection mo for me pumuputok tulad ng bula! I'm sick and tired of this! Umaasa ako only to be let down in the end! " Alyssa shouts, even though she wasn't that drunk anymore, nakainom parin siya, so she couldn't stop herself from blurting out her feelings into oblivion.

"Tapos yang si LA na yan, he's in the picture and suddenly i'm nothing to you anymore, the team knows it, our friends know it, hell, even the fans!" Alyssa pauses to breathe before continuing, "So don't blame me if I try to hang out with Laura cause I want to distract myself from you. Don't blame me for wanting to be blackout drunk in order to forget your name, pero wagas parin eh kasi I always forget mine first." Alyssa was crying now, hands clasping the sheets around her aggressively.

Den cries as well, not know what to say.

"So please, please, please Den. Stop. Tama na, Ayoko na."

Den sits near Alyssa and cries on her shoulder. The both of them holding on to each other for dear life.

"Manhid mo kasi. Naunahan ka tuloy." Was all Den could say as she strokes her thumb against Alyssa's palm. The both of them were leaning against each other, trying to hold on to every piece of each other's body."

"Slow eh"

They both chuckle.

"But we have tonight. Tonight you're mine and I'm yours. Okay?" Den whispers as she kisses Alyssa's hand.

"Okay."

I dont even know what the hell i just wrote HAHAHA i just wanted to update this kasi sobrang tagal na rin.
