Jocelyn's POV
I am watching tv when I hear the door bell ring, so I go answer it. I open the door to see that Alec is at the door.
"We found Clary," Alec says.
"You found her?"
"Yes she told me to tell you she is at her cousin Clarke's," Alec says.
"I know where that is," I say. I turn the TV off and we leave the house.
Clary's POV
I hear Jace ask if he can talk to me. I tell him no.
"Too bad," Jace says. He comes over and picks me up.
"What are you doing? Put me down," I say.
"No," he says, "I need to talk to you."
"Well I don't want to talk to you," I say.
"Too bad," he says. He carries me to my room and shuts the door. Jace sets me down and stands in front of the door. I can hear Jonathan laughing.
"Move away from the door," I say. He shakes his head.
"Am I Avyanna's father?"
"No," I say.
"Liar," he says, "I know I'm her father. Her eyes are gold."
"So," I say as I sigh and glare at him.
"Clary listen to what I have to say please," Jace says. I open my mouth to say something when the doorbell rings. I stand up.
"My mom is here," I say.
"Someone else can get the door," He says.
"I want to introduce her to my daughter," I say.
"Our daughter," he says as he moves out of the way. I go downstairs and answer the door.
"Clary," my mom shouts and I give her a hug. We go to the kitchen and Clarke hands me Avyanna.
"Aunt Jocelyn," Clarke says. She gives my mom a hug.
"Mom this is Avyanna, my daughter. And this is the real Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern. Look at his eyes Mom," I say. My mom looks at his eyes and gasps. She gives him a hug. Then she turns to me.
"How old is she?"
"She is only a year old."
"Can I hold her?"
"Of course you can Mom," I say as I hand Avyanna to her. Isabelle and Alec drag me into the other room.
"What did you mean when you said Jace cheated on you?" Isabelle asks.
"I mean Jace actually cheated on me," I say.
Jace's POV
I follow them to the other room and stand in the hallway.
"What did you mean when you said Jace cheated on you?" Isabelle asks.
"I mean Jace actually cheated on me," Clary says. I go in there.
"No I didn't Clary. That's what I need to talk to you about," I say.
