Isabelle's POV
I am in the kitchen trying to make dinner when Jace walks in. He tells me what happened between Clary and Tara. Then he tells me what he told Clary in the training room.
"I will go help her get ready," I say as stop making dinner. I leave the room and go to Clary's old room. I knock on the door and she opens it.
"Hey Izzy," she says. I come in and start raiding her closet. When I don't see anything she could wear I drag her to my room. I grab a dress and tell her to go put it on. She does as I say and goes into the bathroom. While she is putting that on I find some heels that match the dress. She comes out of the bathroom and I hand her the heels.
"Why the heels?" She asks and I give her a look that says just put them on. She puts them on and I do her make up. Then I pull her hair up.
"Go to the green house," I say.
Clary's POV
Izzy yanks my hair up and tells me to go to the green house. I sigh and go up. Jace is standing by the stairs. I go over to him.
"You wanted to see me," I say. He turns around and looks at me.
"Yeah," he says.
He motions for me to follow him. We go to the other side of the greenhouse. There is a table set up. I smile when I see what the meal is. On the table is a plate with Hot dogs and a bowl with baked beans. There is also a small cake on the table. I laugh when I see that the cake says Mangoes are life. He smiles and we start to eat. We talk about when we first met. When we finish eating we go sit on the stairs. We sit in silence until midnight. Then the flowers bloom. I smile at the thought of our first kiss. Jace looks at me and I realize he must be thinking the same thing. He leans in and kisses me. I kiss him back. When we pull back I leave and go back to Clarke's. When I get there I get a text. I check it to see it is from Jace.
Did I do something wrong? If I did then I am sorry.
No it just took me by surprise.
Clarke is waiting for me when I walk in. I go sit with her in the living room. I tell her what happened. She listens and we talk for an hour then we go to bed.
