Clary's pov
"What's up Luke?" I ask."I am not sure if I completely trust Jace after what he did to you," Luke says.
"Luke, Jace is slowly gaining my trust back. Avy needs her father in her life," I say, "I am ready to forgive him. I never stopped loving him Luke."
"If he hurts you again," Luke says.
"I know you will hurt him," I say, "we all know that you will hurt him."
"I will tell him that too," he says and I smile.
"JACE HERONDALE GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE NOW," I yell. I hear footsteps on the stairs and Jace comes into view. He sees Luke's serious face and gulps. I motion for him to come over to us.
"You wanted to see me," he says as he sits down beside me.
"Luke wanted to tell you something," I say.
"What did you want to tell me Luke?" Jace asks and I can hear the nervousness in his voice.
"I don't completely trust you again after what you did to Clary," Luke says, "If you hurt her the way that you did again, then I will make sure you regret it. Do you understand?"
"I will let you," Jace says, "I never meant for her to get hurt. I love her too much to ever hurt her again."
"Clary," Clarke yells down, "everything is packed up. Are you ready to go back to the Institute?"
"Yeah," I say to her as I stand up. Luke, Jace, and I go upstairs. Luke offers to help take our things to the institute. I smile and nod as I pick Avy up. Jace says he will meet us there and leaves. I give Luke a look.
"What?" Luke asks me.
"I think you scared him too much," I say as I head out to Clarke's car. I buckle Avy into her seat and get in the passenger seat. Clarke comes out and we leave. I tell Clarke how to get to the Institute. Maryse is standing outside with Jace. I get Avy out of her seat and walk over to them. I hand Avy to Jace and give Maryse a hug.
"Clary," she says, "I am glad you are moving back. I think my daughter's cooking got worse."
"It's a good thing that I am moving back then," I say, "this is my cousin Clarke and my daughter Avy."
"My granddaughter?"
I nod and Avy screeches. I grab her and she buries her head into my shoulder. Jace helps Clarke grab the bags out of the car. We go inside and I tell Jace to take everything to my old room.
