Clary's Pov "Tell us what's going on between you and Jace."
"What do you mean Izzy?" I ask.
"I was 'pretending,'" she says. I look at her for a minute.
"Last night when I put Avy to bed I sang. He heard me sing and followed me to my room to tell me that I was good at singing. Then as I was pulling up my hair he asked if I would consider moving back to the institute. I told him that I didn't know and he went to leave the room. I stopped him and asked if he would stay in there with me. He agreed and I pretended to be asleep and I laid my head on his chest. That's what he meant when he said that," I say, "as for what is going on between us I am not sure."
"If you move back to the institute," Clarke says, "I am moving there too."
"I don't know if I want to yet," I say.
"Mama," Avy says. I turn to see Jace standing there with her.
"Alec is here," Jace says, "he said he wants to talk to Clary about something."
"I'm coming," I say. I go to the kitchen where Alec is.
"Hey Clary," he says.
"Hey Alec," I say, "come with me to my room. We can talk in there."
We go upstairs to my room. I go into my closet and pull out some boxes. I put a silence rune and a locking rune on the door.
"Thanks for helping me Alec," I say as we start putting my stuff in boxes.
"Of course Clary," he says, "we all miss you so much."
"I missed you guys too," I say, "do you think I should give him another chance?"
"I think you should," he says, "but it is your choice. He really misses you Clary. He still loves you too. Jace never stopped loving you. Are you ready to forgive him? You see Clary forgiveness is the best form of love. It takes a strong person to say they're sorry and an even stronger person to forgive."

"I think you're right Alec. I am ready to forgive him. I never stopped loving him either," I say, "thank you Alec."
I pull out my phone and call Jace. He answers right away.
"Meet me in my room in five minutes," I tell him. I hang up and unlock the door. I go back to packing and five minutes later there is a knock.
"Come on in," I say. He opens the door and sees the boxes.
