Chapter 19:

"Come on Eve, lets go inside." Charlotte tried to persuade me.  

"No I have to fix this!" I shouted back.  

"Just go inside Eve. I'll go talk to Niall." Ryan demanded while shuffling past me.  

"No just leave me alone!" I insisted taking a seat on the cold, metal stairs.  

"Eve you know how much Niall loves you. He'll understand. Just give him some time too cool off." Riah tried to comfort me but I was fed up with being comforted.  

"Stop the last thing I needed was someone else to disappoint." I pushed her away.  

"But-" 

"Leave me alone!" I snapped. 

Riah and Charlotte slowly and silently headed back up stairs eyeing me the whole way. Well now what? I didn't have any family to go to. I had pushed all my friends away. I had no place to stay and I had broken my angel's heart. Great way to start out the new year. I'm just a breathing travesty headed nowhere, quite more literally than I had hoped. I slipped my heels off and tip toed down the rest of the stairs hoping to be able to eavesdrop on Niall and Ryan's conversation.  

"Come on man. You know how much you love Eve!" Ryan argued. 

"We clearly she doesn't love me!" Niall fought back as they maneuvered closer to Niall's car. I managed to follow and hid behind an elevator.  

"You can't just leave her. Go talk to her." Ryan coaxed. 

"No."  

"Why not?" Ryan asked for a reason.  

"Because if she cared she would have followed..." 

I began to edge out from behind the elevator to him.  

"But I'm done with her." He spoke as I revealed myself to him. 

My heart felt like it had been ripped out if my chest by my own hand. I was too shocked too speak.  

"Care to say something Eve?" Niall questioned anticipating me to fail.  

"I'm sorry..." I whispered with a tear escaping my eye.  

"I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY?! YOU THINK THAT WILL CUT IT! I gave you everything Eve! Everything! A home! Comfort! Love! I tried to save someone you loved when you clearly hadn't deserve it! Have you seen how horrible of a person you are to everyone! That salvation army volunteer! The elderly lady who dropped her bags! I had no reason to help you but I-" he sighed taking in a deep breath. "I saw something in you Eve! I saw good in your heart that had been abused by despair and helped! Clearly I was wrong. This is what I get in return!" 

"I-I guess I'll go now.." I whimpered.  

"Bye Eve." Niall slammed his car door and blazed off.  

"You can stay with Charlotte and I as tonight Eve." Ryan politely made known.

*Niall's P.O.V*  

How could she do this to me? I had given her the world when she had absolutely nothing and she goes behind my back. Why? Why would the girl I loved so, so much do this to me? I felt like the world had collapsed around me leaving me there alone to suffer on the cold ground. No matter where this dusty road took me, I was going no where fast. It was a nightmare that will never end. I screaming but nobody but hear my shake voice and as hard as I ran I couldn't move but my sorrow was moving at full speed. Dead ended the the pit of misery and memories of thing we shared and things to come. I was beaten and bruised and the scars would never heal. They would constantly be there to remind me of her. I was only in this planet to be ripped apart and torn to shreds. Heart broken. The flames of love and passion that burned for Eve and only Eve where being water down to nothing but I couldn't let them die. I still loved her. I always would. Nothing could change that. Maybe... Was this my fault? I didn't let her words get past my selfish wall. Damn it it was my fault! I need to fix this before its too late. I grabbed my phone and dialed her number.
