Part 44 - Journey Of The Saviours ~ 1

We walked down to my friend Tamiko's house. She moved in 2 years ago.

I knocked on the door. A couple seconds later Tamiko came to the door.

"Oh hey, Winry!" She said. "Long time no see!"

Den started licking her leg. "Hey, Den!" She pat him gently.

She was as bubbly as ever. She had long, brown, wavy hair that sat in neat, lazy curls. She had blue eyes like me, except a bit darker. She's really quite beautiful. She was a little shorter than me. She's our age as well. She lives with her dad and 2 younger brothers.

She noticed Al, who was standing a little behind me.

"Oh hello! You must be...?"

"Alphonse Elric. But you can just call me Al. Umm... I'm Winry's friend," He finished her sentence. He seemed kind of nervous.

"Well, I'm pleased to meet you. Sooooo... What can I do for you guys?" She asked politely. Then her cat came to the door and started brushing against Al's leg. She giggled.

"I see Katy likes you! Or maybe she just wants to meet your cat," She said, pointing to August.

"That's August," I answered. "Al and I have to go somewhere at last minute. And I have no one to look after Den and August... Do you think you could take care of them for a couple days?? Sorry about the interruption..." I felt kind of guilty, to just hand them over at a random time.

"No. No. Don't be. I'm willing to take them off your hands for a while! My dad and my brothers are just out on the field, harvesting some crops. They'll be fine with it!" She was so nice about it too.

"Thank you so much!!" I said, then gave Den and August to her.

"Thank you!!" Al said.

We said our goodbyes and made our way to the train station. We were about 50 metres from Tamiko's house.

"She's so nice!!" Al said happily. He sounded almost in love.

"Oh reeeeaaalllyyy???" I said, winking at him.

Al just giggled, like he was trying to hide something.

"You like her, don't you?" I asked cheekily.

"No... Maybe..." He said nervously.

"It's about time you found someone. But what about Mai?" It was obvious that she liked him.

"Nah... She's too... Uhhh... clingy," He said. I could tell something was on his mind.

"Well, whatever. Let's just get to the train station." I announced.

"Right!" He said in excitement.

...

We got to the station right on time.

"Train to Central Station, all passengers must board now!!!" The train driver yelled loudly throughout the station.

"Come on Winry, we gotta hurry!" Me and Al rushed onto the train, and the doors snapped shut behind me.

"Whew... Just made it!" I sighed in relief. We found a seat and waited for the train to get into motion.

We soon left the station and we were on our way to Central.

I'll save you, to repay all those times that you saved me! I'm coming for you, Ed!
