[Ed's view]
After dinner, Winry said she would replace my arm and leg and update them to something more modern. She said she would come down to the basement after she got everything ready and that I should just wait for her there. I agreed with no hesitation.
First I unpacked upstairs.
'This place hasn't changed at all!' I thought.
I went to the room with 2 beds that Al and I usually stay in together.
When I was finished, I waited in the basement for Winry. I walked in and went down the short staircase and lay on the operation bed. I sat up and looked around. I felt like I was forgetting something... or someone. Winry had quite a large collection of automail parts... Is this all she's been doing these 6 years?
A few minutes later, Winry came in with some parts.
"Alright! Let's do this!"
I detached my right arm and left leg, which doesn't hurt at all.
Winry got out a newly made model of my arm and leg. Perfect size.
She prepared to re-attach the nerves.
"3. 2. 1." She counted down.
She suddenly re-attached the nerves to my new automail. It hurt like hell.
I felt my muscles tighten and my teeth clench.
"Finished." She announced.
After I recovered, I started to test out my new limbs.
"That's much better, thanks!!"
