*Rube's POV*

"Cmon Cas I'll show you around." I said as I directed Cas into my apartment. You see, Cas is now human since Metatron the douche took his grace away. Dean told Cas to leave re bunker since Sam or Gadreel didn't want Cas there. Oh well I was nice enough to help him out. I'm also still an angel but I left Heaven. It was too chaotic.

Cas sat down on the sofa in the living room and I sat next to him. "How do you feel?" I ask him. He looked rough and lost. "I feel horrible. Emotions are not fun. I feel lonely." He responds. I felt bad for him. He's been through a lot. "Well I'm going to help you Cas. No matter what. Okay?" I say. He looks at me and nods. "First you need food. I know you never ate anything before but now you have to." I say and stand up, walking to the kitchen.

Cas follows and I show him stuff we can make. "Let's see." I muse and I shuffle through all the food. "Hmmm I'm going to show you how to make homemade pizza. I know it's not a simple thing but that's what I am in the mood for." I say and grab the ingredient. I go step by step, showing him what to do. He seems to take in the information.

"Now after turning the oven to the appropriate temperature, we slide the pizza in the oven. Just don't burn yourself. It will hurt now. And then we set the timer for 12 minutes."I set the timer "And now we wait. Did you get all of that?" I ask Cas. He nods and says everything back to me. I correct him a couple of times but he did very well. The timer went off and I grabbed the oven mitts and grabbed the pizza.

"We have the use the pizza sliced to cut it up." I instruct and grab the slicer. Carefully, I cut the pizza and put a slice on each plate. I hand one to Cas and we head back to the living room. "It may be hot but it's still good." I say as we sit down on the sofa. I turn the tv on and settle with the movie Napoleon Dynamite. Cas takes a bite of the pizza and says with a mouth full "This is very tasty." I laugh and continue to eat. After dinner, I lead Cas to the spare bedroom and said "Here is your room. You will sleep here. Well I'm going to go to bed now. Goodnight." Cas replied "Goodnight Rube and thank you for everything."

I lay down in bed and get comfy. Even though I'm an angel I still like the joys of sleep and food. I am about to fall asleep when I hear the door creak open. "Rube?" Cas calls out. "What's wrong Cas?" I asked sleepily. "I um couldn't sleep. So um." He stutters. "Come here." I say and scoot over in bed. He lays next to me and I ask "Do you want me to sing to you?" He nods and I get comfy. Here goes nothing.

Besides, there's jelly beans everywhere

I finish and look over at Cas who is fast asleep I smile and fall asleep too.
