*Sam's POV*

I was going on a hunt for some demons in New York. There were a lot of deaths going on there which people claim to have smelled sulfur. So I knew this was our type of case. Dean didn't want to come because be wanted to spend time with Cas (wink wink). I wish that Shadow could be here but she had business to do in Heaven.

I should probably clarify Shadow is my guardian angel like Dean has Cas so I have Shadow. Once I got to the building where the demons were I got my duffle bag with rock salt bullets, gun, holy water, and the demon blade. I walked into the building quietly and went to look around.

Out of no where a demon charged at me and I stabbed it with the knife. I killed a couple more and then everything was quiet. That's unusual I though that there were more here. Oh well. I was about to leave when something attacked me from behind and pushed me to the ground.

I groaned in pain as I collided with the ground all of my weapons were out of arms reach. Oh great. The demon grabbed the knife and stabbed me in the shoulder. I yelled out in pain. All I could think to do was pray to Shadow. A few moments later I heard the flutter of wings "Get off of him now." I heard her say. I looked up to see a bright bluish- white light surrounding her. There was a silhouette of her wings and her eyes were blazing a light blue color.

She walked up to the demon and touched its forehead. It howled in pain and fell to the ground. Shadow walked over to me and touched two fingers to my forehead and everything went black. I awoke to the sound of chatter next to me. I looked to my side and say Cas and Shadow talking to each other.
Cas saw me and walked out of the room. Shadow walked over to me "Thanks for saving me Shadow." I said. "You are welcome Sam." She said smiling.
