*Mary's POV*

As I sit in the crappy motel room, I contemplate my life so far. I was an angel living with Cas, who is my only friend. But he is never here, he always goes and helps the Winchesters. I bet they aren't that much to fuss about. I mean Cas always visited them. Whenever Dean called, he was over there in a jiffy.

Cas walked in the door with a distressed look on his face. "What's wrong Castiel?" I ask him. "Dean needs my help again but I need something first." he answers. He grabs something off the table and says "I will be back later, Mary." he leaves without a trace. But lucky me I heard him talking on the phone to Dean and I now know where the Winchesters are.

I transport myself to where Cas went and hid. They were in a huge bunker area with a lot of books in it. "What do you need Dean?" Cas asked. "Dean" turned towards him and my jaw dropped. Damn he was hot. He had beautiful green eyes that no words could be accounted for. "Well Cas-" he was cut off by me knocking something over. Shit.

Cas turns towards me and gives me a stern look. "Mary, what are you doing here?" He asked. "I-um- well." I stutter out. "Never mind. Here, these are the Winchesters. This is Sam." he said indicating to the tall man with shaggy brown hair. "And this is Dean." he finished, pointing to handsome green eyed man. He holds his hand out and I shake it. "Now Cas, is this another one of your followers?" Dean asked. "No not really, she is a friend of mine. She is an angel."

Dean lets out a chuckle and says "She can't be an angel. She sure as hell doesn't act like one." I was about to sass him back but Cas cut him off "Dean, Sam and I are going to go on the hunt, you stay here with Mary." We were going to argue with him but they both left, leaving me with Dean. I look over at Dean and say "Well we are going to be here for a while so we should get to know each other." Dean shrugs and we sit down at a table.

About an hour later I knew more about Dean than I knew about Cas. I knew about his father and his trip to Hell. His favorite foods are pie and beer. I told him about how I was an angel but he didn't seem to believe me still. "Hey Dean, I know we've only known each other for a short while but, uh, I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?" I sputter out.

Dean looks at me with surprise and says "Well Mary here's the thing, I know you're not an angel so don't pretend to be if we date." I glare at him and say "But I am an angel. Why don't you believe me?" I yell. He stands up and replies "I don't believe you because they all are dicks and you sure as hell don't act like one!" Now I was pissed.

I stand up and all the lights go out. A blue white light appears around me and my eyes turn blue. Suddenly my wings appear behind me and Dean stares at me in shock. "Are you convinced now?" I yell. Everything goes back to normal as all the light vanishes from around me. We were both silent and he final says "Leave. Don't ever come back." Without saying anything you went to the door and walked out.

<5 years later>

I walk down the street to my apartment in a small town. Ever since I left the bunker that day I haven't seen Dean, Sam, or Cas since. This was a good thing though, I got a job and had a place to live. Life was good. As I approach my apartment I notice something off. I walk in the door slowly and look around. Sitting in a chair was none other than Dean Winchester. "What do you want?" I ask. He looks up and walks over to me and pulls me into a hug. "I'm sorry Mary, I was such an idiot for letting you go. It was a mistake to let you go. Please if you are still willing. Take me back?" Dean says. I look at him in awe and say "Of course I will Dean. I haven't stopped thinking about you. Now how about that date?" He pulls me out of the hug and kisses me softly. We pull away and he says "Come on I'll take you out. I love you." I grab his hand and say "Up love you too."
