*MacKenzie's POV*

"Dean, could you help me a second?" I say as I balance myself on a chair, trying to hang up some Christmas lights. "Geez MacKenzie, don't fall." Dean said as he rushed over to hold me in place. I laughed and said "I'm fine, I just can't reach the spot where I need to nail it." Dean climbed up on a chair and helped me. "Thanks, now the bunker is pretty." I gleamed as the lights sparkled.

Dean got off of the chair and muttered "I thought the bunker looked fine." I playfully hit his shoulder as his phone rang. He went to another room and answered it. He came back in the room and said "That was Jodi, there was a Wendigo a couple towns over, near us. She wants us to check it out since she can't." I sighed and said "Alright, but it's Christmas Eve. It better be urgent."

He ruffled my hair and said "Come on, let's go." We get ready and drive to the location. Of course, it was in the middle of the frickin woods. "So much for the Christmas spirit." I mumbled and pull my jacket tighter around me. "It's not so bad. We've dealt with worse. Cmon." Dean said as we walked along. I had my torch in hand as we looked around the woods.

"Here Wendigo, come out come out wherever you are." I sing to myself. There was a rustle in the bushes and I spun around. Then darkness surrounded me. I awoke with my hands tied above me head. Great, the stupid Wendigo took me. I try to tell but my voice was hoarse. Dammit.

Suddenly, there was a noise from the darkness. A man looking figure with gray skin. The Wendigo. It started walking towards me and I close my eyes waiting for something to happen. Then, there was a shout and a fire went a blaze. The Wendigo screamed and burnt away. There was a person running towards me and I saw it was Dean.

He cut me down and helped me to the car. "Thank you." I breathed. Dean set me in the car and drove off. I try to move a bit but pain shot through me. "Take it easy MacKenzie, you're still hurt." Dean said. "So much for Christmas Eve." I sigh. Dean took my hand and said "Hey, at least we killed it."

I nodded and said "At least we can relax now. Im pretty tired." Dean laughed as we made it back to the bunker. The lights were still up and shining. I smiled and we went to our bedroom. I climbed into bed and Dean climbed in next to me. "Goodnight MacKenzie, I love you." Dean said as he wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and said "Goodnight Dean. I love you too." As I drifted off to sleep.
