19.Nothing New

*4 weeks later*

I walked into a wedding dress store in the mall. This was a big mall for such a small town but it's almost the only thing here.

"What type of dress do you want?" Rowan asked.

Jessica, Rowan and Conner came with me. Rowan wanted to see the dress I picked since he was going to be paying for half the wedding.

"I don't know yet." I said looking at the big store.

"It's okay I'll help you find something." Jessica said excited.

She was the first person to want to help. She was already planing her wedding and was just turning wedding crazy now.

"You can't bring food in here." The lady at the door said to Jessica.

I told her before it was no way she could bring ice cream in a wedding store, and it was chocolate.

Jessica walked out eating her ice cream slowly. She sat on the bench out side the store and watched.

"I'm sorry that I caused that fight." Rowan said sadly.

"I wasn't your fault Rowan, I'm your friend and you can talk to me." I said smiling.

He smiled back and looked at more dresses.

"So what's happening with this girl? You were gone for two weeks." I asked picking one up.

"I'm not sure." He said sadly.

"What's her name?" I said looking at the jewellery.

"Sheave." He said with care in his voice.

He said her name like it was a prayer, like it was his life in a word. I've never seen his girl but she really had him.

"She'll come around." I said rubbing his shoulder.

"It's not, I know she loves me but, I don't know if she's ready to fall in love yet." He said grabbing a yellow neckless set.

Even when he's said sad the guy had a sense of fashion. I would have though of him as my perfect gay friend, if I didn't know about Sheave. We kept looking and I pulled out this pink dress with green on the bottom. It reminded me of the store,after David showed me the clearing behind it.

"This one." Was all I said pulling it out.

"Really?" He said confused.

I fell in love with David the first day I met him and didn't know it. The pink of the dress looked like the sky. It was late that day and the sky was perfectly pink, the grass was bight green to.

"Yeah." I said looking at it.

I checked the price tag and 2,500 was a lot. I put it back thinking that way to much for a dress. On top of that Jessica's wedding would be coming up at some point.

"Why did you put it down?" Rowan asked grabbing it.

"It cost way to much, I can only imagine you'll be helping pay for Mason's and Jessica's wedding to." I said honestly.

"Maybe a little but Conner is doing most of the paying for them." He said as Jessica walked in.

"What is it that you do for a living?" I asked.

Jessica looked at him to telling me she really didn't know.

"The store that the guy work in I own it and other to. I have about 94 stores in the a U.K and 32 in America. The store the guys work in, Mason pretty much  owns it and I just pay for whatever he ask me to. That's why they make so much money. I tell Mason what to pay you guys." He said nonchalantly.

"Your paid ever week right? How much are you paid a week?" I asked Jessica.

"I always make 957 every week. How much is David making?" She asked a little shocked.

"I'm not sure, I've only seen his check once and it was 1,723." I said looking at her.

If this was a cartoon her mouth would hit the floor now.

"Yeah that right, Logan and David make the same amount and Mason being the manager he makes about 2,000 or 2,500. I really don't check on that store because Mason can pay them and himself whatever. I trust Mason, I'll trust him with my life." Rowan ended.

I was shocked a little but I never knew how wealth Rowan was or how good the guys had it. I looked at Jessica and her face was red with what I know is anger.

"That ass whole." Was all she said marching out.

We walked back to the jewellery and found something green. I neckless, ear ring and bracelets set that matched perfectly. They rang everything up and the total was 6,026. I was shocked but Rowan said it was cheap do I didn't protest it. I started looking around and saw Jessie yelling at Conner, I wanted no part in her fight. She looked at me I shuck my head, I'm not getting into this.

"I don't get why Mason never told the girl. I guess he doesn't want to move out yet." Rowan said grabbing my hand.

I walked with him out the store and to the others.

"Rowan, take me to that store." Jessica said pissed.

He nodded and the four of us walked to the car. Jessica was still yelling at the other two but I was lost in though. For the last four weeks I kept thinking of what Ava said. She was everything to him and now she's nothing. The first day I met him he was with her and after meeting me he forgot about her.

We got into the car and it was finally quiet. My mind drifted back to David like always. Do I have a expiration date like she did. Will I turn into just another girl he made a mistake with. I not sure if I'm just me being stupid or I'm just protecting myself. I fell like if I trust him to much I'm going to get hurt.

"Getting out or are you staying with us?" Conner said next to me.

I noticed that we were at the house and grabbed the door. I turned and hugged Conner and said by to the other two. I stood at the front if the house waving bye.

"Dame it." I said realising something.

I pulled out my phone and quickly call Rowan.

"Miss me already?" Rowan said picking up fast.

"No, my dress is coming to the house in like a hour and you are the only one they will release it to." I said kicking the dirt.

"Why?" He said confused.

"Because it's a expensive dress. They need your I.D to match the card you used." I said telling him something he already knew.

"Yeah they did tell me that, well I'm coming back anyway. Conner needs to us the bathroom. I'll drop him off at your house, take miss angry and pregnant to the store." He said.

I heard Conner laugh and Jess yelling at him.

"Okay, so I'll be there in like 10 minutes." He said hanging up.

I pocked my phone and opened the door. David was in the house but it was quite, he must be sleep. I turned and closed the door when a fist hit me. I fell to the ground hitting my head on the floor and everything went black.
