She pulled me up and pressed me into the bedroom door. I fell on it and it opened. Nothing had changed. David on the floor and the other two fighting.
"Rose has to watch her now." Ava yelled.
Rose looked at me and walked to me helping me up and walking me out. We went into the living room and she gently sat me down. She sat next to me and looked at me. I met her gaze and she smiled warmly.
"Your pretty." She said softly.
"Why are you doing this to me? To your cousin?" I asked.
"This is what my mum wants." She said looking me up and down.
"Do you want this?" I asked trying to get her to look into my eyes.
He eyes stopped on my cleavage and I smiled.
"You don't want David you want me. Don't you?" I asked her wiggling closer to her.
"How do you know that?" She said shocked and scared.
"It's not hard to see." I said to her.
She looked around playing with her auburn hair. She stood and paced around a little checking around the corner. She walked into the next room and I looked out the window. I saw Conner walking and moved around getting his attention.
He looked at me confused and I showed him my hands. His face hardened and I mouthed for him to duck. Rose walked back in and I turned to her.
"I never wanted to this, I have a beautiful girlfriend and I was happy. We're moving in together and I was going to forget about what happened. I pushed all of it away in a small box in my head. I loved David when I was young, we where so close till his mother died. That's when he moved in with us, but my mum wanted everything to happen the way it did." She said seating next to me.
"I know what happened was wrong and I know what happening now is wrong. I know all of that but I owe that woman my life. She adopted me when I was young and sick. If she never did everything for I would be dead. I just want to make her happy, but the only way she will be happy is with David." She said fighting tears.
In some ways I understood her and I more ways then she'll ever know, she never make her mother happy. She was trapped in this and kinda of innocent to. Still to that I don't care about how she feels now, she gutted my babe and she was going to pay just like the other two.
I heard a noise and we both looked at the corner. She stood and walked around the coner. I heard a loud thump and Conner walked into the room.
"Where's Rose?" I asked as he untied me.
"I knocked her out, where's David?" He asked working on my feet.
"In the room, Ava and Nina has him tied down and are going to rape him." I said standing.
He grabbed my hand and walked me into the hall. Rose was on the floor with a nasty buries on her cheek and a black eye forming.
"Dame Conner." I whispered to him.
He looked at her and rolled his eyes at her. He grabbed the knife she dropped and handed it to me.
"If one of those bitches get past me, stab them." He whispered.
I nodded to him, he kicked the door open and Nina was the first he punched. She fell to the ground bleeding and I looked at David. Ava was on top of him and he was inside of her. I moved to her rage fulling me but Conner hit her before I could get there.
I pulled up David's boxers and Conner untied him.
"You okay mate?" Conner asked.
"I'm better now." David said standing up.
He looked at Ava and then to me. My face was expressionless but my heart beat was going crazy.
"I'm okay, what about you?" He asked hugging me.
"I didn't get to you in time." I said hugging him back.
Conner talked on the phone to the police.
"You got here, that's what's important." He said releasing me.
I tried to smile but I just nodded to him.
******
The police was talking to Conner now and the night air felt good. The other four stood out side with David. I walked to the bathroom needing a moment alone.
I looked into the mirror and something in me didn't feel good. Something was off and I couldn't put my finger on what. The door flung open and I looked to it.
"Oh I didn't know you where in here." Mason said.
"I wasn't doing much." I said dry.
"Ruff day, trust me I know how you feel." Mason said stepping into the bathroom.
He moved to the toilet and I looked down. He started to pee and I rolled my eyes. These people didn't people in anything being personal.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well being assaulted or raped is hard on a person but, loving someone it happens to is hard to. You don't understand how to feel so you just feel how they feel and you won't understand there feeling. I'm not sure if that made since." He said flushing and walking to the sink.
I sat on the edge of the tube and he turned shaking the water off his hands.
"I know you feel like you could have done more, or that because you weren't by there side it happened. All you can do is be there for them and help them ever step of the way." Mason said reaching his hand to me.
His words made me feel a little better about things. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. I walked out with him behind me. We stepped out the door and I looked at David. He was next to the police car talking with Ava.
I kept watching him and anger pulsed in me. Mason placed his hands on my shoulders holding me still. Everything went in slow motion and my blood was boiling. He reached his hands behind her neck and pulled her face up.
They held eye contact for what seemed like forever. His face moved to hers and there lips touched softly. She stood on her toes and he pressed down. She stood on her feet and he his hands moved down to her waist holding her tight.
He pressed her body to his hand the kiss deepened. I tried to walk forward but Mason was now holding both of my shoulder with force. I fought the tears but they where already flowing.
"David." I whispered softly.
He released her and he looked into her eyes smiling. She did the same as he pushed her hair back. It was amazing that he never noticed me standing there, his soon to be wife.
