After waiting for an hour I finally finished telling Jason the story and answering his questions. But some minutes before I finished giving Jason the story mom called us to eat dinner. And phones were not allowed when eating dinner at our house. So I had to wait for another twenty minutes or so to finish eating. I quickly finished eating so that I would go and see what they said. Just then my mom said," Jessie darling please can you do the dishes."
Ohh my god mom. I can't do it now I have to go and check my phone now coz there are important messages waiting for me, I thought.
But being the polite and helpful girl " yeah sure mom I don't have anything else to do. But am going to the toilet for ten seconds" I said so that I will have some minutes to check my phone.
"Why don't you use the one here sis. Am sure it will be faster," Jason said referring to the toilet downstairs with an innocent look but I knew he was trying not to laugh.
"Mom wants you to do it now you know," he continued . I glared at him. I didn't know why he was like that. How I wished James was the older brother and he was the younger now so that I could bully him.
"Yeah good idea Jason .I want it to be done now" mom said.
"Okay sure," I said and headed to the kitchen not before giving Jason one last glare. I didn't have a choice.
After I finished I quickly ran upstairs just to find my phone off. The battery has finished. Jason must have left it on. Probably intentionally so that it would finish. I plugged my phone and lay down on my bed thinking about the possibilities of what Evan and rivers will tell me. I will let my phone charge for some minutes before I will take it. Even though I wanted to see what they said as fast as possible I didn't want to take my phone start chatting then after a few minutes the phone will go off again. So I just decided to wait for a little while. Before I knew it I started sleeping.
The next day in the cafeteria I saw the fsquare in their usual table. Nicole was in Nate's arms. Alicia with her phone and then Evan and rivers sitting casually . Why are they even in our school? It was not Monday. I asked myself as I made my way to their table. Since we are now friends with Nate and I don't have any other friends. I hope he is still not angry with me. They look like they are discussing something important.
"Is everything going as we have planned? "asked Nate in a hushed voice.
"Yes. She still thinks you can't recognize her ," Alicia said with a giggle.
This made the whole table laugh.
"You have to see her reaction when I introduced myself to her in Cassie's party. And when I stormed out of her house yesterday when she asked me about my mom, " Nate said with another laugh.
"She was so happy when Rivers and I saw her in school and took her out. Or when Rivers followed her out in Cassie birthday . She is so silly that she didn't notice everything was planned," Evan said laughing so hard that he almost fell down.
"I think she is jealous of me. She thinks I took her place or something like that, " Nicole now said.
"You didn't . Trust me dear. She didn't belong here in the first place . Just by looking at her you will know, " This time it is Rivers that spoke which surprised me the most.
"She asked us what's wrong with you Nate what should we do?" Rivers asked.
"Should we lie to her or what," he asked.
"Just tell her you are sorry you can't tell her or something like that. It is for her own good ," Nicole said.
"That's my girl," Nate said kissing her.
