I glanced over at Kyle, then at Andy. All the faces in the room had frozen, becoming completely serious. All except for Emma, she was grinning like there was no tomorrow.

"Immortals?" I choked out, my gaze flying wildly around the room. "No, that makes no sense."

I felt a hand on my shoulder and my gaze travelled over to Kyle, who was frowning slightly. "It makes perfect sense. You nearly died, Bliss."

I shook his hand off and stood up. "But I didn't, I'm perfectly fine, and other than a few weird changes in my appearance, it doesn't make sense! Fairytale creatures don't exist. I thought you were going to tell me I was suffering from some crazy disease or something! Hallucinations!" I shrieked, moving away from them. Before I could get any further than two steps back, Kyle appeared in front of me, his face grim. I let out a small shriek, startled, and pressed a hand to my heart.

"You have to do it." Came the man's voice from behind me. Kyle nodded once, completely serious. He stepped forward, reaching out with one hand and I shied away instinctively.

"C'mon. Just let me do this. It will prove to you that we are... immortals." He sighed. I took a deep breath, and nodded.

Kyle reached out again, and his hand came in contact with my forehead. I was immediately frozen as images of my life began to flash across my vision. From my first day of school, to Garnet pushing me- images from my whole life.

He removed his hand, and stared at me expectantly. I was gasping wildly, and took a huge step back from him.

"What did you just do to me?!" I demanded, realizing my voice was becoming higher, more feminine, along with my changes.

He put his hands on my shoulders, so my attention was solely on him. "I showed you what we are. That's my power. Memories. I can make them, take them away, change them. Anything." I was instantly suspicious.

"Did you change mine?" He chuckled, shaking his head.

"I wouldn't do that."

"Fine. What can they do?" I jerked my head in the direction of the other three, who were waiting warily, shifting from foot to foot.

If he can really do that, and my appearances are different, does that mean it's true?

"Well. Ma is a Healer, although I'm sure you've already noticed that. She can heal anything from a scrape to a near death accident." I nodded slightly in understanding, and he went on, motioning to his brother.

"Andy is a Telekinetic. He can move anything. Even if it's nailed to the ground. Oh, and he can walk through stuff. Pretty cool, eh?" Kyle nodded toward Andy, who stood up and walked straight through the living room wall. My mouth was hanging open when he came back through a second later.

"Alright. Yeah, it's cool. What can he do?" I motioned toward the man from the hosptial, who broke into a grin.

"Well, my dad, or well Aaron. Shifter. He can change his shape, any human form or animal-" I broke in before there was any changing.

"I don't need to see. I believe you." Aaron nodded sadly, and sat back down. I felt a pang of guilt, but there was no way I wanted to see that.

"And well, we're not exactly sure what you can do yet. From what I saw in your mind it's probably not going to be anything mind-related. Although, you may have something strength-wise, possibly shapeshifting too."

I was confused. "Why would I have two, when you guys only have one?"

"Because, we were born immortal. I know that sounds weird, but when you're born immortal, you age normally until you're twentieth birthday. Anywhere between twenty and thirty you can choose to stop your aging. But, immortals who were turned by a Borne Immortal usually come up with either two powers or none at all. But, not getting any rarely happens. You and Andy were both changed, adopted in I guess you could say."

"And yes, they aren't my real family. I was made into an immortal awhile back, and found Aaron when I was younger." Andy nodded, and I gave him a tentative smile.

I'll have to ask him about that sometime.
