"... tell me, will you ever love me again?"

ALEXANDRA

Michael wasn't speaking to me. Again.

This was like the Harry situation all over again.

Ever since the day I'd FaceTime'd Calum, he hadn't said a word. Not taking my calls, not answering my texts, always disappearing out of the room when I FaceTime'd one of the others.

No one knew why.

Or perhaps the boys knew, but in any way they weren't telling me.

I had other things to think about anyways, like when the boys were coming home and when Lia would ever be again okay. And school of course.

And suddenly it had been two months since the boys left us and Lia still hadn't left her room.

Only to go to and from school though. She didn't even come out to eat and I had no clue how to deal with the situation.

Dylan told me she thought I should force Lia to talk about it, but Mackenzie were totally against that and got kinda horrified when Dylan brought it up.

Nate and Phoebe were busy making out and Sam and Will just agreed to what Dylan said.

We had been sitting at lunch, and Lia hadn't been to school for two whole weeks.

I thanked my lucky star the teachers didn't know it was because the love of her life had cheated on her.

"Why doesn't she just talk to him?", Kylie asked me one night, when we could hear her cry in her room, as loudly as always.

I agreed with my red haired friend. Everything was better than this.

And according to Calum, Ashton was the same.

Both of them were as devastated as anyone could be and I knew Ashton was texting Lia at least ten times each day, but apparently that didn't matter.

She wouldn't speak to him, and I understood her but on the other side, as I said; nothing was worse than this.

We decided to let Mac try and speak with her, which didn't work out either.

Apparently Mackenzie reminded Lia about Ashton and she cried even more.

However, I hoped 1D's return to London would perhaps lend her broken heart, but to be honest, I didn't have too high expectations.

1D had stayed in America two more weeks than expected, since 5SOS tour wasn't starting until, well today, so I missed them like crazy at this point.

But when the day of their arrival finally came, Lia was for the first time for ages; up before me and Kylie.

"Good morning", she said to us when we entered the kitchen.

Lia was making breakfast.

"Uh, good morning sunshine", Kylie mumbled, looking over at me.

"I'm as confused as you are", I told her.

We sat down at the kitchen table and watched Lia walk around in the kitchen, singing some song I slightly recognized as an old One Direction song.

"He drives to school every morning, while I walk alone in the rain", she sang as she poured up milk into some glasses and handed them to me.

"1D's coming back today", I informed my best friend.

The clock had just passed seven am and we had about ninety five minutes until we had to leave the house for school.
