Chapter Sixteen; Disconnected.

The day after the party, I decided to stay home and take care of Michael who was as hungover as anyone could be.

  As soon as I walked past his bedroom that morning, he had called my name.

"Alex, is that you?", he shouted.

I walked into his room only to find him in his bed, half naked.

"Hi there", I smiled.

"What happened last night? Did I do anything stupid, because it sure feels like I did", Michael told me and made a signal I should sit down on his bed.

"Nah, Calum passed out around midnight and I barely saw you the whole night. Me and Kylie got kinda drunk  and Luke were like the only sober person so I told him he should help Calum to bed. Harry, Louis and Niall obviously weren't as drunk as you and Cal but close to it. And Liam doesn't drink so I mean... Ashton and Lia had sex in the bathtub and well you made out with some blonde chick. That's all I can remember for now", I shrugged my shoulders.

"Blonde chick? Was she hot or?", Michael joked.

Even though I knew he was joking, it sucked to hear those words.

Wait... Was I actually jealous?

"Dunno, buddy. I think her name was Amani? That's what you screamed after her when she left, anyways", I told him with a smirk.

I was jealous.

"Oh shoot, Amani Smith?", Michael hid his face into a pillow.

"What's wrong with Amani Smith?", I chuckled as I laid down next to my half naked best friend.

"Just the fact that she's Ashton's ex", Michael said, still with his head in the pillow.

I looked at him.

Well that changed things.

"Oh", I simply said, trying to sound as chill as I could, "why did they break up?", I then continued.

"She cheated on him. Don't worry though, it was like two years ago. He hasn't seen her ever since, none of us have. Well until last night when I was hooking up with her!", Michael shouted with a tired morning voice.

His Australian accent never stopped charming my heart.

Oh god, what was happening to me?

  But wait, if none of them had seen her for two years? What was she doing at the party?...

  I wondered if Lia knew about Amani and if she knew about the fact that she had been cheating on Ashton. She obviously did.

Those two didn't spend a second without each other it seemed.

"Hey, you were drunk. You weren't thinking clear. Plus, dude you just made out with her. And for the record, Ashton isn't dating her anymore, he's dating Lia and you're single so what's the problem?", I asked him.
