"... is anyone there at all? Because I'm not leaving."
ALEXANDRA

The following morning, Michael woke me up by kissing my cheek. "Hey there, time to wake up", he smiled when I opened my eyes.
"Good morning to you too", I mumbled.
"Merry Christmas!", Michael leaned towards me and kissed my lips. "Hope you slept well."
I realized his arms were wrapped around me, while I had one of mines around his waist and the other one were just resting on the bed. His adorable red bed hair looked so amazingly cute that I just wanted to kiss him over and over. And well, now I could.
"I did", I said and kissed him.
We made out for a couple of minutes until I heard screams from downstairs. "Michael! Alexandra! Breakfast's ready", Michael's mom shouted.
"Ignore them", Michael giggled against my lips, and pulled me over; making me lay under him. "Okay", I said.
His hungry tongue followed mine and the rush in my body that always came over me when he touched me, was all over the place at this moment. His touch was magical and for some reason I found myself thinking about how I could've stopped myself from kissing him so many times.
"Alex", Michael moaned my name and kept kissing me, until the door suddenly flew open and Ashton and Lia walked in.
"Hey there, time to ge... OH GOD", Ashton screamed and hid his face in his hands. "WhAT ARE YOU...", he started but Michael's scream interrupted him.
"GET OUT OF HERE", Michael blushed and I hid my face in one of the many pillows. This was NOT happening.
Lia just laughed. "Have fun you two!", she pushed her boyfriend out of the room. "Just remember breakfast's ready", she winked and closed the door.
"Oh my god", I said and suddenly felt the need to laugh, so that's what I did. I laughed. And took away the pillow from my face.
Michael looked down at me with a little smirk and kissed me again. "You're cute when you laugh".
"This is so embarrassing", I continued laughing.
"Sure is, but who cares? They would've found out anyways", he declared and jumped up from the bed. "Now we don't have to do this to such a huge deal. The boys know I've been crushing on you for ages anyways", Michael shrugged his shoulders.
"Well Lia and Kylie knows about it too, so I guess it's not such a huge deal", I agreed.
Me and Michael slowly walked down stairs, him singing one my favorite All Time Low songs, My Only One.
"And all of my obsessing, tell me what was it worth. Guess I should've learned my lesson, I didn't mean to make it hurt", he sang, and wrapped his arms around me.
I enjoyed Michael singing as much as the next girl, especially because his voice was so different and magnificent.
I would never get tired of him.
The sounds from the kitchen got quiet as soon as me and Michael entered it, probably because Lia and Ashton had told everyone what they saw.
"Well...", Luke said and smirked towards us, probably seeing Michael's hand around my waist.
"Shut up", Michael punched him playfully, making Lia and Ashton laugh.
Calum didn't look our way, in fact he was looking out of the window. Which made me wonder what was going on in his head.
"Merry Christmas!", Karen, who had suddenly appeared behind us, shouted.
Me and Michael turned around and Karen hugged us both at the same time.
"Good morning, kids", Daryl said and squeezed Michael's shoulder.
"Good morning", Calum yawned.
Daryl and Karen had decided to make us English Breakfast, very sweet of them, just to make Kylie and Lia feel at home.
Once we'd all sat down for breakfast, the doorbell started to ring and Michael bounced up from his chair and rushed to open the door.
A few moments later, the whole Hemmings family were standing in Mr and Mrs Clifford's living room, wishing us all a merry christmas.
Michael, who had came back from opening the door, wrapped his arm around my waist and I couldn't help but smile.
"Merry Christmas, kids", Jack Hemmings said when it was his turn to say hi to me and Michael. "Loving the shirt, Alex", he then said with a smirk, and left me with a question mark glued to my face.
"What did...?", I started but Michael interrupted me with a giggle.
"It's his shirt, from the beginning. But I got it from him right before we left Australia before the Take Me Home tour", he explained.
"Oh", I was 100% sure my face was reder than a tomato at this point, but Michael just laughed it away.
The rest of the day went by quicker than I thought and suddenly it was time to eat, again. And this time it was dinner time.
Right before we sat down Michael's mom told us she'd forgotten to get coffee for the dessert so Michael, me and Luke had to drive down to the store to get some.
To be honest, we only needed one person to drive to the store but Luke wouldn't let Michael drive his car without him being in the actual car and Michael wanted me with him, so we ended up going, all three of us.
As soon as we'd jumped into the car, and me and Michael had occupied the front seat and let Luke sit alone in the back seat, Michael took my hand.
He was so overly touchy and wanted to touch me, all the fucking time.
Not that I didn't want him to touch me, I kinda liked it to be honest, it just felt weird.
Going from being 'friends', to partners within twenty four hours was weird as hell.
"Turn the radio up!", Luke demanded, and as I did as he said, Michael rolled his eyes.
"Shut up, Luke."
The radio was playing some old Katy Perry song which Luke, of course, knew every single word too.
I rolled down the windows and hung my head out, just to feel the warm air.
We stopped outside a Cole (what the hell is that for kind of name for a store) and both Luke and Michael jumped out.
"I'll stay in the car", I announced.
"Okay, see you soon babe", Luke chuckled, making Michael punch his head. But then he turned towards the car again and tilted his head through the open window to kiss my lips.
"See you soon babe", he repeated Luke's words and making me laugh.
Waiting in the parking lot seemed to much more boring than I expected, simply because I expected the Australian radio stations to play something other than Uptown Funk and/or Jason Derulo.
After ten minutes of going through Instagram and Twitter, I decided to jump out of the car and look after the boys.
Well into the store, I realized I'd never been in a Cole store before so I had no clue where the coffee was.
I walked around in the store for about five minutes before spotting Michael's stupid red hair.
I decided to scare them both, but as I came closer to them; I realized they were in the middle of something that looked like a big argument.
"You ruined his whole christmas, Mike", Luke said.
"Are you kidding me? I ruined his christmas by telling her?", Michael asked.
Luke shrugged his shoulders. "I'm just saying you should've waited."
"Waited for what, Luke? For him to tell her? He should've told her when he found out he actually had feelings for her", Michael declared, seemed to be very annoyed by the whole conversation.
"Michael, come on; don't be mad at me", Luke argued.
"I'm not mad at you, just saying it's a stupid conversation. I did nothing wrong."
"But you knew how he felt", Luke tried.
"But he knows how I feel."
"Does he really? Have you even talked with him about it? I mean, after all he's your best fucking friend, Mike."
"So?"
"It's Calum. Not just some guy from school, it's Calum. Which means you should've talked to him before telling her. Because she might have...", I couldn't hear his last words since some kid behind me started screaming but what Luke said seemed to be enough for Michael, because right after Luke had finished his sentence; Michael started walking towards what seemed to be the exit.
"Michael, wait!", Luke shouted.
I realized I had to hurry back to the car, pretend I did not just hear them argue in a grocery store and be the happy Alex I always was.
I was surprised Michael and Luke hadn't seen me, since I was basically standing behind Luke's back, only a few meters away.
As soon as I found my way out, I started running towards the car, unlocked it and jumped into the front seat.
Two minutes after, Luke and Michael came walking towards the car; with a huge space between them and then suddenly a girl started running after them.
They both turned around at almost the same time, and met the girl halfway.
She probably just wanted a picture because after about five more minutes, the boys were headed back to the car.
"Hi, how did it go?", I asked when they'd both jumped inside.
Luke said nothing, but Michael smiled towards me.
"Good", he said.
We small talked all the way back to Michael's house, or well me and Michael did.
Luke still said nothing, which didn't surprise me at all.
As soon as Michael stopped the car at his place, Luke jumped out of it and shut the door hard enough to break the windows in the car.
Why was Luke mad? Had something happened when I ran out of the store?
I looked at Michael, who avoided my glance. "What was that about?"
"Uh, I don't know", he said and lied me right upon my face.
Even though he wasn't aware of i.
"Alright then", I snapped, jumped out of the car and closed the door as hard as Luke did a few minutes before.
"Alex, wait!", Michael shouted behind me and right before I was about to open the front door to walk into Michael's family, he grabbed my arm and brought me close to him. "Don't be mad at me."
He looked at me with that sad, lonely, loving, sweet, caring glance. "Alexandra".
"We've been 'together' for like eighteen hours and you're already lying to me? Way too go, Michael", I pointed out, trying to get out of his grip.
"Alex, I'm not lying to you. I don't know why he's acting weird, I honestly don't", he said, poking my cheek a little.
Perhaps he was being honest with me. Luke maybe just got mad out of nowhere and perhaps it had nothing to do with the fight they'd had in the store.
I looked up at Michael, not being able to stop myself from smiling.
Michael smiled back. "That's my girl." He pressed his lips against mine and even though I didn't want to admit it, his touch always made me forget everything that was going on around us.
The door behind me suddenly opened. "Michael? Alex? What are you guys doing out here, the dinners getting cold!", Ashton shouted and dragged us inside
"Sorry", I mumbled as Michael took my hand and we started walking towards the diner room.
Luke, Calum, Kylie and Lia were seated next to the door, then, as the table followed, the Hemmings family, the Hood family, the Irwin family and least the Clifford family were seated.
"That took some time!", Jack Hemmings pointed out as I sat down next to Kylie, and Michael sat down next to me.
"Well blame Michael", Luke mumbled, making Ashton, Lia and Kylie turn their glances towards him.
They didn't say anything though, just looked weirdly at him.
Us teenagers ate in silence as the grown ups and Lauren and Harry talked haply through the whole dinner.
Michael hadn't let go of my hand since he took it when we walked into the dining room, which made it extremely hard to eat; but no matter how hard I tried; he wouldn't let go of my hand.
It was almost like he was scared I would stand up and runaway if he let go.
His and Luke's conversation were ringing in my head; who and what were they talking about? And why didn't Michael wanna tell me about it?
Lauren, who was seated next to Calum, looked at me and Michael throughout the whole dinner, with a weird expression glued to her face.
"What are you looking at, Lauren?", Michael asked after about twenty minutes of eating.
The adults were way too into their conversations to even realize Michael spoke.
"You two", Lauren answered, as if it was obvious why she was doing it.
"I think he means why", Kylie told her.
"Oh", Lauren said. "Because you're holding hands."
I looked down at me and Michael's hand, who were gently intertwined.
"So...?", Michael asked, obviously getting annoyed by the way Lauren was asking.
"I just thought Calum was the one who was in loved with Alex, not you", Lauren shrugged her shoulders and continued talking to her younger brother as I watched Calum's face go red and Michael choking on a piece of whatever was in his mouth.
Kylie and Lia looked nervously at me.
"What did she just say?", Michael spitted out, almost jumping up from his chair of anger.
"Michael, breathe", I said, wondering why he was getting so upset over a thing Ashton's younger sister had said after being with us for about twenty hours.
I didn't get how the adults weren't realizing Michael was angrier than I'd ever seen him before, and how Lauren and Harry barely said anything.
Ashton, Luke and Calum looked at each other. "I think it's best if we just leave the table", Ashton said to Michael, who nodded.
"Yeah, I agree.", he said, still so mad his voice was shaking.
Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton got up from their chairs; thanked the Clifford family for the food and ran outside faster than I'd ever seen anyone run in my whole life.
Me, Kylie and Lia just looked at each other.
"What the hell is going on here?", Kylie asked me.
"I have no clue", I answered.
Me, Lia and Kylie offered to take care of the dishes; just to get some time to talk alone in the kitchen.
"How did the whole Michael thing happen?", Kylie asked as soon as we'd closed the door and I began telling the romantic story of how me and Michael were gonna watch Frozen, but instead started telling each other that we loved each other.
After I was done, Lia and Kylie were smiling bigger than ever.
"That's the cutest thing ever", Lia said.
"God, where is my Michael Clifford?", Kylie wondered, probably getting lost in her thoughts.
"Right in front of you", I wanted to scream upon her face.
Luke still loved her and was as good as Michael when it came to romance.
"What happened at the store though?", Lia asked after a while of silence.
I looked at her, wondering how she could so easily know something was wrong.
"Lia, I don't know if you can talk about this with Ashton...Or", I started but then regretted what I'd just said. If Ashton told Michael, he would tell me the truth (hopefully).
"You know what? Please talk to Ash about this, I want to see if Michael will actually tell me the truth."
And I told my friends all about what happened at the store.
"That's exactly why I broke up with him", Kylie joked, but when she saw mine and Lia's sad face expressions; she changed her mind. "Too soon?"
"First off, yes. And second, I don't get why they would even fight over about telling someone something", I said and Lia shrugged her shoulders.
"I've never even seen Luke and Michael fight, or heard them do it", Lia said.
"We've seen Calum and Michael fight though", Kylie pointed out.
"So?", Lia asked.
"We all know Luke would chose Calum's side if something bad happened", I said, getting a short nod from Kylie.
"Why would..."
"Trust me, Li, I dated the guy for three months. He told me pretty heavy stuff".
"Still", Lia looked kinda pissed, but didn't say anything more.
We took care of the dishes in silence and as soon as we were done we left the kitchen, got a thank you from the Clifford family and then walked outside to see if the boys were still there.
"Should I text Michael and ask where he is?", I asked my friends as we sat down on their porch.
Kylie shook her head. "Let's drive downtown and see if some stores are still open. I haven't got anything for the boys yet", she said.
The clock had just strike 6pm, so perhaps some store would be open; even if it was Christmas Eve.
"Sounds good", Lia said as I nodded.
Kylie walked inside again, and then came back a few minutes later with the key to Luke's car.
"The Hemmings fam loves me too much", she joked and unlocked his black Audi with a smile.
