Chapter Twenty Three; No Control; Part One.

"But I don't want to meet him!", Lia shouted and sat down on the bed again. "I'm ready not for that yet, guys."

Me and Kylie looked at each other.

Today was the day of the release party of FOUR, also the first day of 5SOS being back from the world tour.

Which meant we were meeting the boys for the first time for three months today.

It had been three months since we left them at the airport, three whole months.

Sure as hell didn't feel like it.

"Lia...", I said as I patted her shoulder. "You don't have to talk to him. But Liam, Niall, Louis and Harry wants us there, so we will be there. That's what friends do".

Lia rolled her eyes. "But he's gonna be there right?".

"Ashton's gonna be there, yes. Along with us, Calum, Michael and Luke. Plus 1D and lots of other people you don't know", Kylie stood up.

My amazingly gorgeous best friend had straightened her normally curly red hair and was wearing an amazing white dress with long sleeved arms and a pair of black heels. Her lips were in a smooth color of red and among with her beautiful blue eyes and thick layer of mascara she looked like a goddess.

I myself was wearing a black dress, nothing special, but I loved it, along with black heels and my perfect makeup (thank you, Kylie), I didn't look too bad myself.

The only person who looked like she was dressed for a night home was Lia.

She was wearing grey sweatpants and a pink crop top, her messy brown hair looked like she hadn't showered for a whole week and she hadn't care for taking off her makeup the last time she wore it it seemed, because it was all over her face.

"You promise you'll take care of me?", Lia asked us.

"Always", I smiled.

Kylie walked out of Lia's bedroom. "Besides, it's been a month since you left him and I'm pretty sure he'll have more to say to you than ever. So it's gonna be a great night", I heard her amused voice.

"KYLIE!", I screamed.

She just laughed and Lia smiled her crooked but beautiful smile.

"I love you both", she said to me.

"We love you too".

I was nervous for going to the release party myself, so I couldn't blame her.

I hadn't seen the 5SOS boys for three months; hadn't talked to Michael for three months. Or well, I'd tried to but no one still knew why he wasn't returning my calls.

It felt weird and awkward but as I knew 1D was gonna be there and I didn't have a problem with either Calum or Luke. I was actually pretty excited to meet them.

And Ashton, hm well...

I didn't really know what to say to Ashton; I loved the guy he was before he cheated on my heartbroken best friend but I also knew he loved her deep inside and he loved me and Kylie; as friends don't get me wrong.

Besides, Ashton hadn't done anything to me or well... He had.. GOD it all confused my brain.

   At 6pm, we left our beautiful house and Lia was looking representable. Well okay, she looked amazing.

The only person who didn't seem nervous was Kylie, probably because she had nothing to worry about.

Expect perhaps that she was literally flirting with Louis 24/7, but everyone was too scared to point it out.
