"... I would carry you over, fire and water for your love."

ALEXANDRA

The weeks in Australia passed by extremely quickly and soon it was just a few days until we were flying back to London again.

Christmas had been weird, but after me, Lia and Kylie got back from downtown; the boys were at least trying to behave themselves, even if it didn't work out good.

Luke and Calum were mostly alone, except for when Michael was away with his family or just not with us for some reason.

Then they would talk to us all and we'd have a great time.

Kylie was mostly with Calum's sister, Mali-Koa, who is an amazing girl (and so so talented). Which didn't really disturb me, but it felt weird.

Michael hadn't said a word about Christmas Eve, but made it up to me (without knowing it), by getting me the best Christmas gifts ever, including; an amazing necklace with a M on it, tickets to go see All Time Low with him (and promised I'd get to meet them all since they were 'such good friends') and his favorite t-shirt (it smelled so much like him I was so happy).

Calum and Michael had barely been speaking since Christmas Eve and every time I asked any of them why, they just said nothing was wrong and that I worried too much.

They must've thought I was an idiot or something, like come on... Were they really expecting me to believe that?

Calum and Michael wasn't speaking and they said nothing was wrong? The best friends of twelve years? Give it a rest.

In anyway, I let it be and tried not to think about any of it.

New Years eve was coming up, and since 2014 had been an emotional rollercoaster I hoped 2015 would be a whole lot better.

But I mean, 2014 gave me my best friends and also very good grades.

Even though that, 2015 made me nervous and I had no idea what to expect from it.

The boys were heading to LA to write the next album and we would be going back to school.

I'd been trying to convince Michael to stay in London for as long as possible, but the boys had already decided to go to LA, so they would leave us once again; for three more months.

"Goodbye kids, we are leaving now", Karen Clifford shouted from downstairs. "Have a goodnight!".

I quickly ran downstairs to get a last glimpse of Michael's parents before 2014 was over.

Karen and Daryl were standing next to the front door, taking their shoes on.

"The same to you!", I said and hugged her. "Thank you for everything you've done for me and the girls these last couple of weeks".

She smiled towards me. "No worries, Alex. We're so happy to have you here. So thank YOU".

Daryl squeezed my shoulder. "Don't have too fun tonight", he winked.

The Clifford parents were going to some of their friends on the other side of Sydney and were leaving us kids home, on New Years eve.

Which meant, we would all be partying all night.

They said goodbye again and I went upstairs to wake Michael up.

The clock had literally just stroked 5pm, yet I was the only one up.

We had been out in Sydney all night, or well me and Michael had, while Kylie, Luke and Calum had been partying at some club and Lia and Ashton were spending the night at Ashton's.
